Wrapped up this little reel for and a while back and have to say we had a lot of fun creating this!

It’s a little sexy, a little sassy, a little suggestive - but it certainly creates a vibe and a lasting impression! It’s great when you’re given the opportunity to push the limits a little but always working within the expectations of the company image and brand.. it’s a fine line sometimes but hats off to the guys at Cotswolds Inns who weren’t afraid to be a little daring. This one certainly demands attention 👌🏻🎥

I’m really proud of this one. The film not only captures the stunning hotel and restaurant areas but crucially, the opulence, ambiance and experience that’ll guarantee any couple has a fantastic date night or weekend away.

Delighted to have been invited back as the official videographer for the Gala ball held in the Cotswolds later this year; an event organised by the incredible that truly goes above and beyond to raise much needed funds to support mental health for military personnel and their families. It’s an evening full of glamour, sophistication, entertainment and fun - and we can’t wait to be involved again.

Last year I attended as a guest but took the opportunity to build my portfolio; shooting and editing a short highlight film of the evening’s events on my iPhone. The organisers loved what I did and have asked me back as their official videographer for 2026, which not only is a huge compliment for my work but also a lesson there in seizing the moment and embracing the opportunity to show the world what you’re capable of 💪🏻

The first of two promotional reels I filmed for and a few months back.

I really wanted a story element to come through on both films but more importantly, include the human perspective to show how guests visiting the Inn can spend their time. Seeing how a guest moves through the buildings and grounds makes the whole viewing experience that much more immersive 👌🏻

I’m really looking forward to the second video being released where I was able to really push the creativity and get some of my all time favourite shots! 🎥

When you’re bringing tons of enthusiasm and passion into a project it’s always that much easier to ensure you achieve an outcome you can be proud of, and this short travel film is no exception.

I’m incredibly proud of this film and genuinely believe it feels authentically cinematic which is exactly what I set out to do.

Thailand is simply stunning. There is rugged and natural beauty at every turn, it genuinely is the most dramatic and breathtaking scenery I’ve ever laid eyes on. Then of course the cultural and historical elements add even more visual appeal, which makes a film maker’s dream location.

The film was shot in and around Krabi and Phang Nga, where we explored the towns, coast, inland jungle areas and many of the local islands. The film captures the spirit of exploration and the theme of journey - I wanted the film to hit on an emotional level as that’s exactly how we felt when exploring these incredible parts of southern Thailand - I must give so much credit to the beautiful music by the insanely gifted and which I’d picked out before the cameras were even packed!

Also need to thank and for their hospitality and opportunity to film their stunning resorts. Also featured in the film is the awesome nightspot and the incredible .

Man I love Thailand 🇹🇭- it just keeps giving and giving! Every turn there’s natural beauty or something of interest to capture. The landscape is like nothing I’ve seen before and with such a strong cultural identity it’s just so easy to find things to photograph. I have to remember to take in everything with my own eyes and not just the lens of the camera!

That being said, I decided not to bring the Sony camera on this trip. Instead, just using the iPhone and some quick edits on Lightroom mobile. I’ve been taking loads of film too and really looking forward to putting that together for a short travel film kinda vibe. That’s if we come home.. certainly in no no rush to get back on the laptop 😅

Probably my favourite shot of the formidable .gym from last week’s photoshoot at .

I’ve always enjoyed taking photos but never really took the time to learn the technical side of things until recently. My progress has made huge leaps lately and it’s all down to experimenting and a constant will to get better at what you do.. the learning never stops!

Raw images straight off the camera look ok but it’s the editing that really turns still images into art 👌🏻 I’m slowly navigating my way through and quickly realising the impact of masking.

Heading back out later today for more footage of .gym for the short film .. another project I can’t wait to get started on 👌🏻

I took the rig to tonight and followed the very impressive .gym through one of his training sessions; taking both photos and film for a project that I’m stoked to be a part of - and one I can’t wait to get started on.

Can’t promise it’ll be a quick turnaround as there’s loads of footage to trawl through and I really want to ensure the story element comes through clearly. I also want to colour grade this and achieve the cinematic quality it deserves 👌🏻

As part of my ongoing work with Cotswolds Lakes & Escapes, I’ve been tasked with creating more lifestyle type video like this which really helps inspire clients and potential customers with some insight as to what a typical stay might look like.

I’m in my element creating this type of film, more story, more heart, more feeling. This is property film with a difference.

David Attenborough need not worry, I’m not about to make my mark on the wildlife scene anytime soon. Although lately I’ve been finding myself working outside much more, mainly capturing the grounds surrounding countryside properties, which in the winter is not always as easy a sell compared to spring or summer. As a videographer I have to create a vibe; I’m always exploring ‘themes’ and opportunities to embellish my film - so both wildlife and nature are proving awesome tools to achieve this 👌🏻

Technically, I’m learning lots. For instance, and obviously, most wildlife won’t allow you to get anywhere near to them which makes it incredibly hard to capture any detail - so a decent long focus telephoto lens will have to be added to the kit list.

It also becomes something of a game.. a waiting game; and a battle of how long you can wait for that perfect shot before giving up and wondering “maybe I should just drop some stock footage in here?” 😂
