Update on Oscar
(Bit of a long read, you know me!)
He’s doing really well to be honest he’s a strong character as we know, but we won’t know what improvement (if any) the procedure made until his appointment tomorrow. He has eye drops 4 times a day, 10 minutes after the drop goes in we put antibiotic gel in there and praise him like mad with his fave yum yum bisquits (as he calls them) during the day he wears this visor so it shades him from bright lights, even though he’s like a greyhound at the back door waiting for it to open so he can go into the garden with his toys.
Bottom line is, I’d give him one of my eyes if I had to! I don’t want him to lose one of his baby browns. I absolutely adore this great big horses ass & now I’m with James I have the support for myself passed onto Oscar with lots of love & caring. Oscar loves his daddy, he leans into him on the sofa at night & snuggles up. James has a lot of patience with him & Oscar knows that. He knew that the minute he stole his bacon sandwich & still eyes up his food! No doggy should fear their hooman it’s not why they’re here. We have 2 dogs, 5 cats & a tank full of fish, we love animals & treat them like they’re our babies. So yesss if they’re naughty they are told but never physically or abusive…that draws a line. This boy is 10 next birthday, I’ve been in his life since he was around 14 months old, I’m all the love he’s ever known & he loves his mama. I’m praying to a god I don’t believe in here, but praying all the same he doesn’t lose an eye, we will do all we can for him. 🐾🐾♥️♥️♥️
