Post ceremony apple picking with M + C on a glorious autumnal afternoon 🍎

I love finding ways to make the couples shots about more than just posing together. It’s the perfect breather away from the wedding party where you get to realign and ground yourself after such a momentous event, why not make it more memorable and have a mini adventure together?

It’s the most beautiful task to capture stages in people’s lives they will look back on and cherish. It’s so important to document these moments for our future selves, our children and all the next generations to come.
The hall in my grandmas house is filled with family portraits going back many generations, I always found it so fascinating to see the faces of those who came before me, and I hope to do the same in my home one day too.

So here’s your reminder to document, carefully and consciously capturing important memories for the curious little people who will one day be in awe.

A few frames from Tom and Laura’s stunning garden wedding. I had all the excitement at seeing the lush greenery of the garden, if I could have green everything forever I would.

The most beautiful English garden flower bouquet hand picked in the morning and finished with ribbon. The drizzly changeable sky making all the best moods. The live music, magician and laughter. Tacos and Tattoos… all makes for a wonderful garden party wedding 🪴

Emily & Harrison’s beautiful day at on Dartmoor ✨

The first three weddings of the year last month were so wonderful… I feel like I’ve met so many amazing people already this year and I’m hopeful that the next weddings will bring the same energy and joy 🌞

I was limiting myself to 8 weddings this year so that I can balance the other areas if my life in ways that’s feel harmonious.. although I did stop the bookings at 9, I’m thinking of reopening the books to take on a few more for Autumn and Winter weddings… so get in touch if you would like me to capture your day in the latter part of the year 🍂

A beautifully soft and intimate portrait session with H inside her home.

This portrait session was split between an outdoor location on Dartmoor, followed by some more quiet moments in her home… I find this the best way to produce maternity portraits that feel personal and intimate.

A morning at Roscarrock associating for ✨

Pre ceremony moments are filled with nerves and excitement, a certain stillness and anticipation in the air. It’s always my favourite part of the day to photograph, for the details and intimacy.
