Happy 1st Anniversary Lisa & Ben!

From the moment we met this lovey couple at the Westpoint Wedding Show to waving goodbye as the sun set, I couldn’t have enjoyed being with them more.

We’re talking a horse-drawn carriage, an oar guard of honour, swords, a woodland walk, speeches under an oak tree and live music, all planned with military precision! Did the sun shine when it needed to - yes it did! Did it absolutely pour down with rain during the alfresco speeches and nobody care? Yes it did! Was there a quick, not-necessarily-planned dress change for the evening? Yes there was. Was it the best - absolutely yes!!!

Happy 1st Anniversary Laura & John!

This time last year I’d just parted company with this extra-special pair, who intimately tied the knot, just the two of them, at the perfect Brickhouse Vineyard.

There is something very touching when a couple put their faith in you when it’s just going to be them and then me, capturing those precious moments that nobody else witnesses. Thank you for entrusting me 😘 Here’s what they said:

This week see’s the One Year Anniversary of not one but three gorgeous couples!

The first being the gorgeous Lara & Jordan, whose day started a little damp it must be said, but nothing dampened their spirits! After some rather beautiful brollie shots, the day cleared up and a little sunset popped through for the evening!

I’m still astonished how a year just whizzes by! What a perfect da these guys had - the sensational Ottery St Mary Parish Church, the post-ceremony windy veil and followed by a fabulous reception at the ever gorgeous Deer Park Country House.

Bucking tradition, Camilla & Sam did it their way on the north Devon coast…
did it their way…

- Drinks and canapés before the ceremony (and more after!)
- A casual arrival of the bridal party during this pre-ceremony time.
- First glances across the guests.
- A leisurely gathering around the bride and groom for a friend-officiented ceremony.
- Tying of the knot with marine rope.
- No rings, but an anchor necklace.
- Camilla kicked off her shoes and made it down (and back up) the 364 steps to the beach - but wasn’t it worth it!?!

Casual, relaxed and perfect in the spring sunshine on the coast that they hold dear to themselves
