I learned a long time ago that when you ask Spirit to use you, what is asked of you will not be pretty and graceful.
It will be hard and messy and heartbreaking. It will ask of you to heal the world - and the world is on fire. So much suffering, so much cruelty, so much pain.
This is where you will be asked to go - deep into the open wounds of the world. This is what it means.
And when we say we are light-bearers what we mean is that we see in the dark, we choose to spend our lives going down again and again into the shadow world because it is there that we are most needed.
And each time it’s an initiation into ever deeper levels of service. And darkness. So those of us who hold light - we can do so only because we are friends in equal measure with the dark.
But for me there is no other way to live ~ the only point in being here is to have my eyes and heart and mind and spirit wide open and to be in deep contact with what is unfolding.
And there’s a deep blessing in that willingness to be really present with all the muck; it’s almost like (if I listen) I can feel myself being cheered on by the other side ~ like my heartbreak is rewarded in equal measure with spiritual grace.
AND I’ve totally been in sh*tholes where there’s no grace to be found. Life eh? Fu**in mystery😂
So that said, let’s dance and sing and create and be joyful, as much as we possibly can, as we forge forward in the wild intensity of these uncertain times…of this time between worlds.
