I’m Julia… I adore capturing beautifully styled weddings, using my years as art director for leading bridal magazine WEDDING to very much influence my style – editorial (naturally) with fine art influences but always storytelling. I work as a duo with equally talented photographer Michelle, bringing together our two styles to create the perfect collection. Michelle specialises in storytelling, whilst I am fine art editorial, so as well as telling your story we are creating what will become your first family memoir. For me, as I only book a limited number of couples a year it’s about us being right for each other. If you just want a photographer to capture the day then I might not be the right one, but if you love editorial photography, want to create something beautiful and tell your own (fun) wedding story we would love to get to know you. At some wedding guests presume we’re friends already, so when you get in touch I would really love to LOTS about you two, about your wedding, the style, the details and the things that are important to you both. I love to have fun relaxed day with you two, after all chances are you will spend as much time with me on the day as any guest! I have been lucky enough to work with the industry’s finest, from top fashion photographers and talented wedding planners, to leading cake designer and florists, and I am very fortunate to call many of them friends. I am very fortunate that the combination of stylish weddings and couples with my editorial style means lots of my weddings get featured in top bridal magazines (you can see some here). Me personally, of course I love photography and imagery which is why I am a pinterest and instagram fan, but I am lucky to be blessed with two amazing children and a husband who makes me laugh every day. I have a VERY sweet tooth and get excited before every wedding at the chance to get dressed up (and wearing red lipstick) and I cross my fingers for golden hour. Oh and I can never decide whether I prefer being blonde or brunette. I shoot on Nikon and Canon and can see the benefits in both, but generally I am Canon and Michelle is Nikon and we both have a double set of equipment both Canon and Nikon so you’ll be well covered.

I’m a Master Photographer (MPA) and hold a Diploma in Photographic Practice (DipPP), as well as an A-level in photography and BA Hons degree in design. BUT most importantly, you only get one chance to preserve your big day, so it’s important to choose an experienced photographer who will capture the real joy and essence of your wedding to give you memories you’ll treasure forever.
