🎉 I'M BACK! 🙈🙈😁😁

After two weeks of battling with Meta, I finally got my page back!

For those who don't know, I somehow managed to accidentally remove myself as admin, leaving the page with no one running it. 😅 Definitely one of those things that could only happen to me!

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported me and helped me rebuild the new page. Your likes, follows, shares and messages meant so much. ❤️

Ironically, just as Meta restored access to this page, they decided to delete the new one, so unfortunately I no longer have access to it. 😕 But that's okay, because this is the original page — my baby that I've spent the last 10 years building with so much love, hard work, and the support of all my amazing clients and followers.

I'm so happy to be home again! 🥰

Thank you all for sticking by me and for supporting my little business over the years. Here's to many more weddings, memories and beautiful moments together! ❤️📸

Hello everyone 👋✨

Hope you’re all well!

I just wanted to share a little update about the business. I’ve made the decision to change the name from Capturing Memories Photography to Vanessa Protheroe Photography 📸💫

This change comes after a few clients mentioned they were struggling to find my page, and I felt it was the right time for a refresh and a clearer identity going forward. Don’t worry though — everything else remains exactly the same, just a new name and a fresh start!

I’ve also realised the business has needed a little TLC for a while now. My website has been a bit neglected and my socials haven’t been as consistent as they used to be. Life has been incredibly busy lately, and I wish there were more hours in the day to get everything done!

So this is step one done 😄 next up is giving my website a refresh to match the new name and updated branding.

I also love that I can now use my married name in the business — it feels really personal and right. Plus, it definitely makes things simpler when clients know they’re speaking directly to me, Vanessa 😊 (you’d be surprised how many people have asked “so… who’s the photographer?” expecting a man 😅)

Busy season is officially here, and after a well-needed month off, I’m back feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready to bring in new ideas, skills, and creativity for all your special moments ✨

What an incredible day celebrating Mr & Mrs Collins 🤍✨

In the middle of all the beautiful chaos, there was so much love, laughter, and genuine happiness. From happy tears to endless smiles, every moment felt special.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect (and apparently we have Ellie to thank for that after she buried a sausage for good weather 😂🌭☀️).
Surrounded by amazing people, beautiful sunshine, and so much love, the day truly couldn't have gone any better.

✨ Let me introduce you to the new Mr & Mrs Lerwill ✨💍

What an absolutely amazing day it was yesterday at Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel & Spa celebrating the marriage and union of Charlotte & Paul 🤍

It may have been cold outside, but the love surrounding these two was more than enough to keep everyone warm ✨
The bride looked absolutely stunning, and the groom didn’t do too bad either 😉
The venue was beautifully dressed with soft pastel colours and the sweetest Disney touches, creating such a magical atmosphere 🏰✨

The whole day was filled with laughter, happy tears, love, and so many unforgettable moments. These are the kind of weddings that remind me exactly why I love what I do so much 🤍

✨ Hello lovelies… I’m back! ✨
I know the page has been a little quiet — I’ve taken a lovely little break from bookings, but I am soooo ready for the crazy busy season to begin again! 😍📸

I’ve got a beautiful wedding coming up in just 2 weeks at Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel & Spa and I honestly cannot wait ❤️

Then it’s off to Portugal 🇵🇹 for my little sister’s wedding with my Portuguese family… followed by 2 weeks in Spain 🇪🇸 with my Welsh family — feeling very lucky right now 🥰
