Gwennie & Jacob 🤍

Ceremony at West Borough Church, followed by a reception at Meade Hall, Crown and Cushion.

A bright, relaxed day with gentle religious undertones and a real sense of calm from start to finish. The light in the church was perfect for timeless ceremony moments, and once everyone arrived at Meade Hall the atmosphere shifted effortlessly into celebration mode — laughter, hugs and a dance floor that didn’t need much encouragement.

From classic confetti to soft evening portraits and packed-out dancing, the whole day flowed naturally.

Practical tip: if you’re getting married in a church, have a quick chat with your photographer about where they’re allowed to stand during the ceremony. Knowing the boundaries in advance means you still get beautiful, uninterrupted moments captured without any surprises on the day.

Planning a Guildford wedding and want candid, documentary-style photography that tells the full story? Let’s talk.

“The photos you’ve got are everything and more! Thank you so much for our lovely gift! I will never stop recommending you! And hope we stay in touch. You’re an incredible photographer! Myself and Jamie honestly can’t thank you enough!”

I genuinely remember opening this message and just sitting there for a minute. Not because it’s good for business. Not because it’s ‘great feedback’. But because someone trusted me with one of the biggest days of their lives, and this is how they felt afterwards.

The bit that gets me most? “Hope we stay in touch.”

That’s always the aim. I don’t want to be a supplier you tick off a list. I want to be someone you felt completely comfortable having around, who blended in, helped when needed, kept things calm, and quietly captured the moments that matter.

Your wedding isn’t a styled shoot. It’s your people. Your nerves. Your laughs. Your chaos. And if, at the end of it all, you feel like the photos are “everything and more”, then I’ve done my job properly.

Think you’re awkward in photos?

You’re not. You’ve just probably never been photographed in a way that feels natural.

Move. Don’t pose.
Walking, chatting, laughing: movement instantly takes away stiffness and gives you something real to focus on.

Look at them. Not me.
Your connection is what matters. When you’re focused on each other, the camera disappears.

Slow down.
Take a breath. There’s no rush. The calmer you feel, the more natural the photos will look.

You don’t need to know how to pose.
That’s not your job. I’ll guide you gently when needed and step back when the moment speaks for itself.

It’s your wedding. Not a photoshoot.
The best images come from being present: hugging your friends, laughing too hard, living the day properly.

If you want wedding photos that feel relaxed, honest and completely you, head to the link in my bio and let’s talk.

A relaxed church ceremony at St Mary’s, Kingsclere.
Plenty of laughter.
Then sunshine, riverside drinks and a proper chilled celebration at The Old Mill, Aldermaston.

Nothing forced. Nothing staged. Just a couple completely present with their people.

Tip - If you’re having a church wedding, build in 10minutes after confetti for nothing but hugs. No formal photos. Those unscripted moments are where the best candid images happen.

If you’re getting married in Kingsclere, Aldermaston or nearby and want natural, documentary photography, you can see more from their day via the link in my bio.

I hate posing too! In fact, I hate being that side of the camera - but if I can do it, you definitely can!

I spend my weekends third-wheeling at weddings and somehow getting invited to the best parties going. I shoot things as they actually happen — real laughs, real tears, real dance moves (even the questionable ones).

I drink too much coffee, book a limited number weddings on purpose, and will absolutely fix your buttonhole if it’s wonky.

If you’re planning a wedding and want natural photos without awkward posing or forced smiles, I’m your guy.

Bonus points if your venue has good light and your dog’s invited. Mines in the post so swipe to give him some love!!

How to capture beautiful couples photos without posing like plonkers on your wedding day!

My favorite bit of wedding days - the confetti. Organised chaos at its very best!! Drop a comment if you want to see how we set this up to get perfection every time!

Really excited to share that I’ll be sponsoring Sinead Skillin for the 2025/26 season with Henley Hawks! 🙌

Sinead plays for , Women, and the Women’s Rugby teams — and if you’ve ever seen her play, you’ll know how much passion and hard work she brings every time she steps on the pitch.

It’s great to be able to support someone who gives so much to the game, and I’m looking forward to following her journey throughout the season (and hopefully capturing a few moments along the way too!).

Here’s to a brilliant year ahead, both on and off the field 🏉📸

Group photos at a wedding are normally my least favorite bit - so we play games instead!
