My name is Siân Court, owner of SKC Photography. I look forward to us hopefully working together.

As a self employed Dorset based photographer I specialise in Commercial Photography including Events, Headshots, PR and Product photography. Having studied photography at Southampton Solent University, I wanted to have a career within the photographic industry. In 2013 I felt the time was right to become self employed and since then I have seen my company go from strength to strength. I am excited

It was lovely being back out working yesterday. I really enjoyed attending the launch night of festival at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest with Activate Performing Arts yesterday. Gaia is very impressive and feels very magical during the evening, if you get a chance you should definitely go check it out.

Last week I actually left the house for work and it felt great to pick up the camera again.
Looking forward to getting more jobs booked in now that things have started to ease up, Ive even got a awards ceremony booked for July 🏆.

Happy National Houseplant Appreciation Day (I only know this thanks to a handy calendar from Lemon Squeezy Marketing )
Here are just 3 of my house plants which I have been able to grow from cuttings from my in-laws.
On my last count I currently have 16 houseplants (and I may have just ordered 3 more from a small business) but plants have a lot of health benefits including improving air quality by increasing oxygen levels and studies have shown that having house plants can improving your mood and reduce stress levels so I say the more houseplants the better!

I spent a few hours last night down at Nutley Farm taking some pictures of their 'Christmas Lights and Reindeer Experience' and I have to say it is magical and has definitely got me into the festival mood. I know I am incredibly late to the party but I have just started listening to .co conversations of inspiration podcast and WOW it is fab. I am only 6 episodes so have a lot to listen to they truly are inspirational and they give a fab insight into how or why people started their own business. Definitely worth a listen.
