Hi everyone,

I just wanted to get in touch with an update.

After quite a lot of patience and persuasion, I’m delighted to say that I now have a juvenile kingfisher coming in to feed every day! 🩵

It has taken a little while to get her settled and confident around the hide, but she is now visiting regularly, which is fantastic news.

I’m going to wait until the end of the month, at the moment she is still quite jumpy, Hopefully she’ll be more settled and predictable with her visits by then.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I really do appreciate it.

Fingers crossed she continues to behave herself! 🤞🩵

Sorry for the radio silence on here lately, many of you who know us will know it's our busiest time of year chasing seagulls across the north east with some 16 hour days ATM, so please accept my apologies if I've been slow to reply. Karen (the kingfisher) is breeding ATM, she often disappears for a few months at a time, as soon as she returns I'll be in touch with anyone who is waiting to book.
