Some weddings feel loud in the best possible way.
Not because of fireworks or confetti cannons… just because the whole day is full of people properly there with each other and living the moments.
Katie and Pete’s wedding at Oak Farm Hotel had that feeling from the start.
Tears during the morning prep.
Laughter that spread across the groups.
Garden games getting slightly more competitive as the drinks kicked in.
It was one of those days where nobody seemed in a rush to get to the next part. People stayed in moments a bit longer. Hugged tighter, had a laugh and live in the moment.
And once the light started to soften in the evening, we slipped away for a few creative portraits to finish the day properly. No fuss. Just the two of them, taking it all in for a minute before heading back to the party.
These are the moments at weddings I love most.
Real emotions. Connected people. A bit chaotic at times. Very funny but human.
If you’re planning a wedding and want photos that feel like the day actually felt - relaxed, atmospheric, honest - we’ll probably get along just fine.
What’s your favourite part of a wedding day - the emotional bits or the slightly unhinged garden games later on?
