I heard the shout from the labour room. It wasn’t a cry of happiness, it was pain but greatness was being born through that pain. Mothers show us that pain is part of life, and out of every painful moment comes a beautiful reward. Witnessing my friend bring her baby into the world reminded me that some of life’s greatest blessings are carried through sacrifice, strength, and love.
