Lisbon for Marilyn Manson.

I rarely post audience shots, but this time I made a conscious choice to not even try to photograph the show - just to experience it purely as a music fan.

The first time I saw was back in 2005 at Rockwave Festival. I was deeply into his music then, especially the era from Antichrist Superstar through The Golden Age of Grotesque (1996–2003). That Athens show was shocking, provocative, and a real eye-opener, especially for someone coming from more traditional rock and metal live acts.

Fast-forward to today: a proper comeback. Personal issues behind him, physical form back, a new label, and a fantastic new album (One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1), followed by a return to touring.

A sold-out Campo Pequeno, the right choice of support act .

All photos shot with my pocket camera, Ricoh GR IIIx and the last image is a small bonus from my personal archives, taken back in 2005.

It’s been a long time since I last photographed a dance performance. A few weeks ago, I attended the EOS R6 Mark III Presentation Event at by , where I had the chance to test a wide range of Canon gear.
