Venice is gracefully and slowly sinking into the ocean, as climate change increases the rising levels of the sea, it's becoming common to see this plaza flooded by water. This was shot at 5:30am with the hopes of finding fewer tourists. It was only me and a few other photographers who were walking about at this hour.

looking towards the North Atlantic from the small village of Sørvágur. When you fly into the Faroe Islands you fly extremely low and in-between these mountains (It was possibly the bumpiest flight I have ever taken) It requires a special plane and training due to the wind patterns that exist here.

Hydes Mill from 1850, in Ridgway Wisconsin, about 45 minuets from Madison. It's on private property, and unfortunately you can't walk around much but if you are in the Driftless region it's very much worth a stop.

Nick and I took a surprise trip out to Badlands National Park and Custer State Park in South Dakota last summer. This is a shot that I grabbed on a hike just off of Needles Highway. If you have a free five days, I would definitely recommend a quick trip to South Dakota
