It starts long before the ceremony.

Slow mornings under the Istrian sun.
Friends arriving from different places.
Drinks by the pool.
Getting ready together.
The walk down the aisle.

And then, somewhere along the way, the carefully planned wedding becomes something you can’t really plan at all.

Napkins in the air.
Friends laughing a little louder.
Music taking over the evening.
And nobody thinking about the camera anymore.

With Nikola Batinović and Kristina Krstičević setting the mood, it didn’t take long for dinner to turn into a proper party. ✨

That’s the part I love.

Because a wedding isn’t only the ceremony, the portraits or the beautiful details. It’s the people you brought together and everything that happens when you simply let the day unfold.

Every wedding has its own rhythm.

Some are loud.
Some are elegant.
Some are full of quiet moments.

This one had a little bit of everything.

Villa Lavanda in Vodice was the perfect setting for a wedding shared with only the people who mattered most. No big production—just a relaxed couple, their closest family and friends, and a day that unfolded naturally from beginning to end.

I had the privilege of photographing this wedding alongside SANJA LYDIA. Over the years, she’s given me a different perspective on wedding photography, and I’ve learned so much simply by watching how she tells a story. Thank you for the trust and for letting me be part of another beautiful day.

Weddings could be remembered for the timeline, atmosphere, people….

This was one of those days where everything felt easy. No rush, no pressure. Just two wonderful people, their closest family and friends, and a celebration full of genuine smiles, hugs, and a dance floor that stayed full all night.

The moments I remember most aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the laughter between friends, the quiet embrace before dinner, and the energy that naturally grows when everyone is simply happy to be together.

That’s the kind of wedding I love documenting. Honest, relaxed, and full of life.

Some moments aren’t planned. They simply happen.

A walk by the pool.
A quiet smile.

That’s exactly how this afternoon at Brown Beach Hotel felt.

Nothing was forced. They trusted each other, forgot about the camera, and simply enjoyed being together. Those are usually the moments that become someone’s favourite photographs years later.

These are a few moments I saw through my own lens.

I believe wedding photography should never interrupt the day. It should let you experience it fully, while quietly preserving everything you’ll want to remember.

Some places become part of the story.

Šibenik is one of them.

Stone streets, warm afternoon light, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why so many couples choose Croatia for their wedding day.

There was no rush. Just two people completely present with each other, enjoying every moment as they walked through one of the most beautiful old towns on the Adriatic.

These are the moments I love photographing. Not the perfectly posed ones, but the quiet glances, the genuine smiles, and everything that happens in between.

Most couples tell me the same thing before a pre-wedding session:

“We don’t really know how to pose.” or “We’re a bit camera shy.”

And honestly… that’s completely normal.

My job isn’t to tell you how to pose.

It’s to help you forget the camera is even there.

We walk, we talk, we laugh, sometimes we run.

Little by little, the nerves disappear and you’re simply together.

That’s exactly what happened during this evening in beautiful Opatija.

In September, I’ll be photographing their wedding in Šibenik, and when that day comes, we won’t be meeting for the first time—we’ll already know each other.

That’s when the most genuine moments happen.

Some weddings don’t need hundreds of guests to feel unforgettable.

This day, just outside Zagreb at IURIS Winery, was all about the people who mattered most.

A small circle of family and friends.
A relaxed couple.
No pressure to perform, no rushing from one moment to the next.

Just laughter during dinner, quiet conversations, a few happy tears, and a dance floor that slowly filled until nobody wanted the night to end.

These are the weddings I genuinely enjoy photographing.

When couples trust me enough to simply be themselves, the photographs happen naturally. The real smiles, the way they look at each other, the hugs from the people who have been there from the very beginning… those are the moments that stay with you.

A rehearsal dinner that felt more like a summer holiday than the start of a wedding weekend. ☀️🤍

Poolside laughter, cocktails in hand, dinner under the Istrian sky, and a couple who simply wanted to spend the evening with the people they love most.

San Canzian is one of those places that makes you slow down. The timeline fades away, conversations last a little longer, and before you know it, dinner turns into dancing.
