First day of awareness raised at the Succès Auguste and FILSECAMM Study Center in Cayes Jacmel on the need for an inclusive education system referring to Article 24 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It is as a prelude to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd. PAZAPA and RANIPH Sud_Est carried out this activity in partnership with Cénacle des Journalistes du Sud-Est, Association des Enseignants de Jacmel and BSEIPH Sud-Est. During this first day, several hundred students were made aware by a team made up of members of the press, teachers, disabled and non-disabled students, parents of students and managers of BSEIPH, RANIPH and PAZAPA. Please note that this initiative is funded by the Disability Right Fund and The Siloé Project.

PAZAPA and RANIPH (National Associative Network for the Integration of People with Disabilities), as part of the celebration of the International Day of People with Disabilities in the South-East, organized a press conference this Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 along within partners such as: Cénacle des Journalistes du Sud-Est and Association des Enseignants de Jacmel in order to inform the population of the different activities planned for this occasion. These are 4 awareness sessions in 4 ordinary schools (Nov 29 and 30) and a broadcast on Radio Télé Sudestar which will be relayed by Radyo Pèp la and Bambou Inter, this Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. The chosen theme is: Together for educational inclusion. The objective is to raise awareness among students in schools about the need for an inclusive education system with regard to Article 24 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disa bilities. This project is made possible thanks to the financial support of the Disability Right Fund and The Siloe Project.

At the invitation of Gangelle Décor, around ten young People With Disabilities from PAZAPA participated in a two-day training (November 25 and 26, 2023) on event decoration.
This was a Gangelle Décor initiative in partnership with ACCENH, members of RANIPH, for around fifty PWDs. Please note that this training was free. PAZAPA thanks Gangelle Décor for its partnership.
