The majority of child sexual abuse is not documented, it takes place behind closed doors, the abuser is most often a person known to the child.

When a person documents the act of abuse for future sexual gratification or sharing & trading, what is really being documented is "evidence" of a serious crime.

Photographs and films depicting child sexual abuse are not merely an online crime with virtual victims; it's REAL crime involving REAL people and REAL suffering. Facebook moderators should NOT be responsible for handling this material, it needs a "report Child Abuse" option, that submits those reports directly to a hotline such as IWF or INHOPE.

Victim identification can end abuse of the child, helping to identify and locate them.The Child Abuse Image Database we believe should be available for every countries police force, maybe then there will be some truth in the words "Every Child Matters"
