Calling all clubs for 2027 season. 

The NEFL are creating an extra division for our new season due to demand. 

With clubs expressing the need for a second or third team, and interest from new clubs joining the NEFL- we have decided to create a new division. 

That means we will have 7 Mens divisions next season and 4 womens divisions.

Sam Murray scored this late equaliser for Trim Celtic AFC against Coachford A.F.C in the FAIreland Junior Cup semi-final that brought the game to extra time and eventually penalties.

It was a goal he deserved in the game - a fantastic match by the winger.

Congratulations to Albion Rovers F.C. Ladies 2nds who clinched the UHY Farrelly Dawe White Womens Division 3 Shield trophy following their 3-1 win over Bjd Celtic at the MDL Grounds in Navan today.

Bethlehmam Shibsa picked up the player of the match from NEFL Fixture Secretary Yvonne Brady for her all round display in midfield for Albion Rovers.

Joint Captains for Albion Rovers received the first ever Division 3 Shield from NEFL Committee member Paul Brennan.
