Each year our club support a charity during our exhibition. This year the chosen charity was The Parkinsons Society we were delighted to hand over a cheque for 750 euro thanks for your support.

On Tuesday September 1st we are starting our new season, and new members are welcome to join. The Carlow Photography society is a club of photo enthusiasts on every level from beginners to experienced photographers. In the weekly club night new skills and techniques are shared by participating workshops, evening shoots, and presentations. There are monthly photo shoots organized at various locations and for beginning photo enthusiast there is a beginners class where you can learn to take better photos. So why not visit us on our opening night September 1st at 8:00 PM in the Dolman hotel Carlow.

Well that's a wrap for this year's Carlow Photographic Society Exhibition. We would like to extend our thanks to John Brophy and Colin Lindo for a great venue to share out images. We would also like to extend our thanks to everyone that called to say hello and everyone that helped us raise some money for Parkinsons Ireland South East charity. We appreciate your continued support and last but not least to all the members of our club who helped in any way we have a great club and look forward to a new season in September. Enjoy the rest of the Summer.

Lovely to see Siobhan Kinsella drop in to our exhibition today. Her late husband Austin Kinsella was one of our founder members of our club. Thanks for calling today Siobhan rip Austin.
