Day 2 of walking on the Camino Frances. It was another fantastic day! The group is flying along. We walked 28km / 17.4 miles from Portomarin to Palas de Rei. Looking forward to a great Galician meal and some well deserved rest. Buen Camino.

And we are off. Today we left Sarria, Spain and walked 24km / 15 miles to Portomarin. The weather was roasting but loving the blue skies and sunshine. It was a perfect introduction to the Camino de Santiago. Buen Camino.

Everyone has arrive in Santiago de Compostela, Spain and looking forward to beginning our 116km Camino Frances guided trip. This morning we explored the city and enjoyed a Cathedral & Carraca Tower Roofs Tour. Incredible views from the highest point in the city.

We travel to Sarria this afternoon to begin our journey tomorrow morning. I can’t wait. Buen Camino.

My last training walk before heading to the Camino de Santiago. I’m excited to be guiding two Camino walking trips for Ian Taylor Trekking.

I’m leading a 9-day Camino Frances trip and a 15-day Camino Frances and Camino Finisterre trip. I can’t wait to introduce the wonderful world of the Camino to these small groups.

I plan to post everyday my favorite photos and videos during these journeys. So stay tuned. Buen Camino.
