Hi, although this page has been quiet the last few months, life has been mad and wonderfully busy. As good things can come in threes, the last year was a mix of New Job, New House & New Baby. I began a new job as the collections photographer in the renowned Chester Beatty Library Museum, we renovated our house and dealt with the trials and tribulations of a cowboy builder, and welcomed our first child Charlie into the world! I am sharing a few photos from his first studio shoot, no doubt he will appear here again. I am really looking to this seasons weddings and shoots I have booked and will have loads of updates for White Lanes galleries. Do get in touch for wedding & portrait bookings. Thanks Orla x

This is my son Charlie at 2 months in a simple studio set-up at home. It can be great to add your own props, natural home location and personalities to really make your shoot unique.

I had the pleasure to shoot this amazing couple a few weeks ago for their wedding in Limerick & Killaloe Hotel. There was a lot of joy, a few tears and buckets of rain! The joy and the rain never stopped all day and we enjoyed it all. They were good sports and we rocked out the umbrellas for some outdoor shots. It was interesting to have to find some nooks and crannies in the hotel to shoot inside and I loved the shots I got using a giant window and a closed bar at night. This was a beautiful day, actually only an hour, Leah & Johnny are having a big wedding in Portugal in a few weeks but needed to do the official registry signing in Dublin, and it did get very emotional. They just had their parents there so I was honored to be there to photograph them. No matter what size the wedding it's amazing to capture it all! We popped down to the canal for 10mins en route to the registry office which proves you don't need loads of time or the most stunning of locations to make something beautiful happen.
