Some places don’t just tell stories—they preserve them. 🖤
Hidden among the dramatic cliffs of Mizen Head, this is the historic Radio Beacon Hut, once part of Ireland’s first coastal radio navigation system. Long before GPS, its signal helped guide ships safely through the unforgiving Atlantic.
I captured this scene before the building was restored, preserving a fleeting moment when time, weather, and history had left their mark. For me, black and white was the only way to tell this story—stripping away distraction and revealing the raw beauty of Ireland’s rugged coastline.
