A fantastic evening in Belfast with the Snooker Legends. However was a pleasure to cover the the opening tonight. Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Denis Taylor, John Virgo, Joe Johnson and Tony Drago to name a few where all there. It looks like it will be a fantastic day tomorrow from 1pm on in the Waterfront Arena in Belfast tomorrow. A slightly different formula with 6 reds instead of the usual 20.

As part of the 1916 Centenary Celebration, I was asked to take photos for Carnaross National School. The school had 3 events as follows:
1) The school requested parents to bring in memorabilia, as the army presented an Irish Flag to the school.
2) The children of the school wrote their own proclamation, and read it out and raised the Irish flag they had been presented earlier in the year by the Army.
3) The culmination of the celebrations was when the school brought the children up to the GPO exhibition and the younger ones went to Collins's Barracks 100 years to the day of the 1916 rising.

One month ago I was asked to put a montage of these images together for the school. The school selected the images for use and used the central image, a 12*18 inch image of the children outside the GPO, a 100 years earlier to the day, it stood ablaze in the middle of the Rising. Either side of this image stand the Irish Proclamation and the Schools Proclamation with a montage of images on the periphery.
