With today being St Patrick's Day, I figured I'd share one of my favorite images from my trip to Ireland back in September, this view of O'Brien's Tower and the Cliffs of Moher.

Plenty more images from this incredible trip are coming soon.

A little bit of a teaser for the photos I got this morning.

I had an absolute blast today at Cars & Coffee at .boston Fantastic people and tons of amazing cars as well.

These are just a few of the badges that could be found throughout the lot. I have nearly 2000 shots to pick through, so over the next few days I'll be posting some of the best.

Interested in having me shoot your car in the New England area? Drop me a DM!

When I heard that Kodo would be leaving Buttonwood Park Zoo and heading to The Birmingham Zoo to live with their panda Gizmo, I knew I'd have to see her before she left, so I made the trip on Thursday and again on Tuesday to visit one last time. She'll certainly be missed here in Massachusetts, but I'm also glad she's going to be bringing joy to a whole new group of people down in Alabama.

Huge appreciation to all the staff and volunteers at Buttonwood Park Zoo for everything they do and for putting up with me being that crazy dude who hangs out around the red pandas taking photos for about an hour at a time, and to everyone at Birmingham Zoo as they prepare to welcome Kodo into their zoo family!

As to why Kodo is a bit pink in that last photo? Well, maybe she just felt like being a pink panda instead of a red panda for a little bit 😜

Yesterday I made a long overdue trip to visit to visit their pandas Jacob, Marie, and Kodo. (Kodo is the one in this picture). I definitely need to make trips down there more frequently. Huge thanks to the keepers who took the time to explain how to tell the 3 of them apart, since that's something I've never been great at.

After entirely too long away from being behind a camera, I went out to on Saturday to try out my new 150-600mm Contemporary lens that I finally picked up after planning to do so since the summer. Even though I wasn't at the zoo for terribly long, I walked away with some shots I absolutely love, including this image of one of RWPZ's two snow leopards.

Now that life has started to calm down a little bit, I'm looking forward to getting back to shooting regularly.

"Scenic Disappointment"

Sometimes shots don't work out the way you hoped. Of course, it hurts more when you travelled all the way to the opposite corner of the state to get them, and conditions put a stop to your plans, entirely outside of your control. But you still have to find a way to make SOMETHING work, even if it's not the image you were hoping for.

I drove up to Mount Greylock the other day, hoping to capture a lovely scenic view of the Berkshires at sunrise during peak fall foliage. Instead, I found fog. Lots of fog. Regardless, I stuck around and managed to get some shots I liked, even if they were absolutely nothing like the ones I was planning on getting.
