Omagh Gaol house rocked this weekend!!

Here’s today’s two tours, I really really enjoyed this weekend and showing you the incredible work Rodney is doing with the Gov’s gaff!!

We will plan another open day in September with a potential auction to help the restoration project 👏

A Certificate of Freedom - 1846 🕍

William Manery, was held in Omagh Gaol in 1836. His story didn’t end there. It led across the world, with records showing letters sent in hope, and a certificate of freedom ten years later before his family began a new life overseas.

Moments like this are what make this place so powerful real stories, real people, and connections that still reach across generations.

This weekend, you’ll have the chance to step inside the Governor’s Gaol House, see what’s been uncovered during restoration, and hear more of the stories connected to it.

Still taking it all in after attending the Ballyscullion Book Festival 📖

I’m incredibly grateful to have been invited to speak on stage about my work and journey with photography. It was a real privilege to share my passion for documenting forgotten places and the stories they still hold.

The festival was filled with inspiring conversations, and it was amazing to meet so many talented and successful artists and authors throughout the event. Being surrounded by such creativity and experience was genuinely motivating.

A huge thank you to Thomas for such a thoughtful and enjoyable interview on stage you made the whole experience feel relaxed and memorable.
