سورۃ النساء (4:23) — اردو ترجمہ

"تم پر حرام کی گئی ہیں تمہاری مائیں، تمہاری بیٹیاں، تمہاری بہنیں، تمہاری پھوپھیاں، تمہاری خالائیں، تمہاری بھتیجیاں، تمہاری بھانجیاں، اور تمہاری وہ مائیں جنہوں نے تمہیں دودھ پلایا ہو، اور تمہاری دودھ کی بہنیں، اور تمہاری بیویوں کی مائیں، اور تمہاری پرورش میں رہنے والی تمہاری سوتیلی بیٹیاں، جو تمہاری ان بیویوں سے ہوں جن سے تم ازدواجی تعلق قائم کر چکے ہو۔ لیکن اگر تم نے ان سے ازدواجی تعلق قائم نہیں کیا تو تم پر کوئی گناہ نہیں۔ اور تمہارے حقیقی بیٹوں کی بیویاں بھی حرام ہیں، اور یہ بھی کہ تم دو بہنوں کو ایک وقت میں نکاح میں جمع کرو، مگر جو پہلے ہو چکا سو ہو چکا۔ بے شک اللہ بہت بخشنے والا، نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔"
