A journey that started with a vision to bring new food experiences to Bandipora.

Foodies by Chillax was born from the success of Chillax Café, founded in June 2024 by Shahri Shahid, Shehryy Musadiq, and Mir Adnan, an FMCG experienced trio of brothers with a shared passion for business, hospitality, and introducing new food concepts to the region.

Chillax began its journey as Bandipora’s first dedicated ice cream parlour, introducing scoop ice creams to the local market for the first time. The journey continued with the launch of authentic Chicken Shawarma, creating another new food experience for the people of Bandipora.

After two successful years of Chillax, the trio now takes the next step with Foodies by Chillax, their second outlet and a complete café and fine-dine restaurant.

Foodies brings together a wider dining experience, combining Indian, North Indian, Chinese, continental and café favourites under one roof.

مام صاحبؒ حمال — ایک گمنام درویش اور بزرگ شخصیت بلال رحمانی

مام صاحبؒ حمال ایک متقی، پرہیزگار، خدا دوست اور صاحبِ نسبت بزرگ تھے۔ بظاہر وہ ایک عام حمال کی حیثیت سے زندگی گزارتے تھے اور اکثر گاڑیوں سے سامان لوڈ اور اَن لوڈ کرنے کا کام کیا کرتے تھے۔ عام لوگوں کو اس بات کا اندازہ بھی نہیں تھا کہ اس سادہ لباس اور محنت کش انسان کے اندر ایک روحانی مقام رکھنے والی شخصیت پوشیدہ ہے۔

کہا جاتا ہے کہ جب بانڈی پورہ میں وبا کی بیماری پھیلی تھی، اُس وقت بھی مام صاحبؒ حمال حیات تھے۔ ان کی سادہ زندگی، عاجزی اور خاموش طبیعت ایسی تھی کہ لوگ انہیں محض ایک محنت کش انسان سمجھتے رہے، جبکہ ان کے روحانی مقام سے بہت کم لوگ واقف تھے۔

میرے پیر و مرشد، فقیر پیر محمد انور شاہؒ نے بعد میں مجھے بتایا کہ مام صاحبؒ حمال "کتبیت" کے منصب پر فائز تھے۔ میرے پیر و مرشد بانڈی پورہ میں اکثر اکسر راتھر صاحب کی دکان پر جایا کرتے تھے، جہاں مام صاحبؒ حمال بھی کبھی کبھار ملاقات کے لیے آیا کرتے تھے۔ انہی ملاقاتوں اور بزرگوں سے حاصل ہونے والی روایات کے ذریعے مام صاحبؒ کے روحانی مقام کے بارے میں مجھے بعد میں آگاہی حاصل ہوئی۔

یہ بات میرے لیے نہ صرف ایک روحانی روایت ہے بلکہ بانڈی پورہ کی مقامی تاریخ اور صوفیانہ روایت کا ایک اہم حصہ بھی ہے۔ مام صاحبؒ کی شخصیت اس حقیقت کی یاد دہانی کراتی ہے کہ بعض اللہ والے اپنی روحانی عظمت کو دنیا کی نظروں سے پوشیدہ رکھتے ہیں اور ظاہری طور پر انتہائی سادہ زندگی گزارتے ہیں۔

ان کا ظاہری پیشہ محنت مزدوری تھا، لیکن اہلِ معرفت کے مطابق ان کا باطنی مقام اس سے کہیں بلند تھا۔ وہ خاموشی سے اپنی زندگی گزارتے رہے اور اپنی روحانی نسبت کو عام لوگوں کی نگاہوں سے پوشیدہ رکھا۔

ضرورت اس امر کی ہے کہ بانڈی پورہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے ایسے گمنام صوفیاء، درویشوں اور بزرگوں کے حالاتِ زندگی کو بزرگوں سے سنی ہوئی روایات، مقامی تاریخ اور دستیاب شواہد کی مدد سے محفوظ کیا جائے، تاکہ آنے والی نسلیں اپنے علاقے کے اس روحانی اور ثقافتی ورثے سے واقف ہو سکیں۔

مام صاحبؒ حمال شاید دنیا کی نظر میں ایک عام حمال تھے، مگر اہلِ دل کے نزدیک وہ ایک ایسے درویش تھے جن کی اصل پہچان ان کے ظاہری پیشے سے نہیں بلکہ ان کے باطنی مقام سے تھی۔
