Golden, citrusy, homemade EGGLESS ORANGE CURD

Super easy RECIPE, save it :
🍊Zest 4-5 oranges and squeeze to juice them out(to get 1.5cup)
🍊add the zest to 1cup raw sugar and rub it until the sugar feels wet.
🍊take it into a saucepan, add 5tbsp arrowroot powder, 1.5cup orange juice,3/4 cup milk, 1/4tsp salt.
🍊whisk it evenly and cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame
🍊switch off as mixture thickens and coats the back of the spatula
🍊let it cool, cover the surface with plastic wrap and refrigerate to be used on your cookies, breads, bakes and sweet treats that elevate your summer mood 🌞

This summer treat is berry hard to resist!
Blueberry yogurt bark is sunshine in every bite.
”Beat the Heat with Curd

Let’s celebrate the importance of Curd, a wonderful source of probiotics, protein and calcium.

My creamy rich thick Curd creation is BLUEBERRY YOGURT BARK
🫐prepare blueberry compote by simmering 1cup blueberry with 1/4cup raw sugar, 1tbsp lemon juice, 2tbsp water for 10min until mushy. It will thicken as it cools.
🫐Whisk a bowl full of yogurt with a tsp of vanilla essence and 2tbsp honey until smooth and creamy
🫐spread a 1/2” layer of the mix on a parchment sheet(size which fits your freezer)
🫐drop spoonfuls of compote, spread & swirl around
🫐sprinkle generously toasted nuts, seeds, oats and dried berries.
🫐freeze it overnight.
Break the bark into “barklettes” and enjoy this season!

RECIPE to get Low on fat- GET high on protein!
easy to make SPICED & BAKED MOONG DAAL
🔅wash and soak yellow moong daal for min 4hrs.
🔅preheat oven at 190degree Celsius
🔅pat dry the soaked moong dal
🔅line the baking tray with baking paper and brush it with oil.
🔅to the moisture-free dal, add salt and oil just enough to coat it evenly
🔅toast it in the oven at 190degree Celsius for 30min
🔅add chaat masala and red chilli powder in the last 10min
Enjoy the evening wali Chai with

Winter is here and so is the season of heartwarming comfort foods! One such treasure( I got from my MIL)from the kitchen of Bihar is Turmeric Halwa, or “Haldi ka Halwa,” a dish that embodies warmth, tradition and health in every bite.

An age-old remedy for the chilly season it is made with fresh turmeric root or turmeric powder slow-cooked in ghee, sweetened with jaggery, and infused with the rich flavors of cardamom and dry fruits, it’s a perfect blend of taste and nourishment.

Known for its immunity-boosting properties, turmeric halwa is often prepared to keep the winter blues at bay while satisfying your sweet tooth.

🔅 Here is my dish:
Description: DECONSTRUCTED (Baked vegetable and chana)CHAAT

☀️Root veggies like sweet potato, potatoes and Beetroot are baked and smeared with salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder and roasted cumin to create healthy layers.
☀️Whisked curd with a dash of honey and black salt makes for a smooth and soothing pour.
☀️Decorated with pomegranate arils, tamarind-dates chutney and spice sprinkles completes this deconstructed festive CHAAT with all its vibrant appeal!

*let this sit for sometime and you will see the beautiful pink ring of Beetroot created 😊

Bake one ingredient- Cashews
Toss them in the sweet and salty mix , store and relish these gorgeous and delicious and enjoy the

Possibilities are many
But Star Ingredient is One,
1 Sweet and 1 Savoury
A combo made with Love ..!!

1 ⭐️ Ingredient - CASHEWNUTS
Sweet Dish -> CINNAMON-COCONUT sweet cashews
Savoury Dish -> CHILLI-CURRY LEAF salty cashews

SWEET :
🪔bake 2 cups cashews at 160 for 12min
🪔toast 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
🪔In a pan mix 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4tsp cinnamon powder
🪔add 2tbsp water and let the mix caramelise at low flame
🪔as it turns sticky add baked cashews and toasted coconut
READY
just spread,let it cool, break and munch.

SAVOURY :
🪔heat a tbsp of olive oil and add 1tsp red chilli powder, 1tbsp peri peri mix
🪔don’t burn! quickly warm it and toss in the baked cashews
🪔 add salt, add curry leaf powder(dried and crushed)
🪔mix and coat evenly
READY
Let it cool, store and munch.
