There is an important difference between what our eyes see and what the camera captures. As a photographer, my passion has been to capture al
l the wonderful moments that my eyes see. However eyes, doesn’t just see alone, it also transmits the images to brain which processes the image along with emotions and makes everything around us beautiful. For a Photographer, it is important to capture these wonderful moments that depict the saga of emotions. As a photographer one starts to see not just an image that needs to be clicked, but modifications that one will have to make in order to correct and mold it so that whatever is natural – unframed, unmated, un-printed, un-corrected and un photographed – still gets captured! In India there is no greater event in a family than a wedding, dramatically evoking every possible social obligation, kinship bond, traditional value, impassioned sentiment, and economic resource. In the arranging and conducting of weddings, the complex permutations of Indian social systems best display themselves. After marriage arrangements are completed, rich panoply of wedding rituals begins. Each religious group, region, and caste has a slightly different set of rites. As a photographer, I capture every emotion to bring everlasting memories that will always bring smile and pride on your face.
