We have been planning for this shoot for more than a month now, waiting for the model Sakshi's exams to get over, sourcing the material and stitching it. Our inspiration for this shoot was from one of Katrina Kaif's Vogue shoot with a white horse, when I saw the pic I immediately whatsapped Sakshi whether she would be interested, she was equally excited, so we began preparing for the shoot.

Our initial idea was to use the white horse at Tanir bhavi beach and replicate the Katrina Vogue shoot, we dropped the idea later as we had done many shoot in that location before, then I remembered the Dhivara song from Bahubali and thought we would do the shoot with a waterfall backdrop, so, I started asking around and searching for the most widest and glorious waterfall in and around Mangalore, but, again nothing came close to our expectation. Sakshi then sent me the pictures of her Stylist Chetana's house, the pictures were very beautiful, we visited Chetana's house and I loved the green natural backdrop there, and there was a beautiful couch there too, so, we decided that we will shoot at this location.

I can't thank Sakshi enough for introducing me to Chetana, a very talented stylist, who has 9 years of experience in her bag, she is someone who definitely understands the nuances of styling for a fashion shoot, I am very impressed with her work, one of the finest work I have seen in mangalore, more important is I saw the hunger in her to better her work more and more, we wish her all the best, and ladies if you want to look beautiful in pictures do pay a visit to her parlor. Highly recommended!

I am lucky to have Sakshi on board, any pose you give her she is going to pull it off with grace. We wish her all the best for her aspiration to be a movie star. We would love to see you on the Celluloid one day, good luck!

Lastly, I am just a crappy photographer with a brilliant camera ;P , Nikon D610, the colors and sharpness is simply brilliant, makes my work so much more easy. We also love to do baby and new born shoots (within 10 days of birth), with extensive use of props,we are constantly looking for and buying props in advance for the same, do call me for creative baby shoot on 99644-56004.

It is counterintutive but, bad weather is the best time to make great photos. The cloud acts a huge softbox and blocks the otherwise harsh sunlight rendering a beautiful soft and even light on the model. Also, brilliant posing SuSh !

Baby shoots gets every photographer excited. Enjoying the rains a lot this time, everything around is nice and green, put a cute baby in pink on the grass and start shooting, nothing like it!

It is my habit to look for inspiration in other photographers works, advertisement on malls, movie scenes, magazine. Just remembered this pose in the middle of the shoot from one such source and executed it.

Its rainy season, means off season, so, we thought of doing a practice session, and this is what we managed. Thanks to Nithin for suggesting this place at Nitk beach, turns out, it is an awesome background for fashion shoot.

We also had a plan of doing a very shortfilm on 'feminism' but, the rains would not allow, so, maybe some other day!
