Two giants of the forest, bathed in magical light.

A magnificent elephant framed against the dramatic skies of Bandipur, and a herd of gaurs glowing amidst flowers and golden light, two powerful subjects reminding us that wildlife photography is far more than close-up portraits.

Sometimes, it is the habitat, the mood, the weather, the landscape, and the story around the animal that create the most memorable images. Learning to see these wider perspectives can transform the way you photograph the wild.

This is exactly what we focus on during our guided wildlife photography tours understanding light, composition, habitat, behaviour, and storytelling.

Join us in Bandipur Tiger Reserve and experience the forest beyond sightings. DM for upcoming schedules.

“Great wildlife photographs don’t just show the animal; they reveal its world.”

Monsoons and the sub-adults — a season of learning, curiosity, and discovery.

The sub-adult phase is one of the most fascinating chapters in a big cat’s life. No longer tiny cubs, yet not fully independent, they spend their days exploring, observing, making mistakes, and learning the unwritten rules of the wild under the watchful eyes of their mothers.

During the monsoons, the forests come alive, and so do these young explorers. Every fallen log becomes an adventure, every movement in the grass sparks curiosity, and every day brings a new lesson in survival.

Here are a few special moments of mothers and their sub-adults captured across the jungles of South India, beginning with Bandipur Tiger Reserve.

Which image did you like the most? Let us know in the comments.

The wild dogs of Bhadra.

A pack of 15 dholes. A herd of more than 100 spotted deer. And a hunt that unfolded like a perfectly rehearsed strategy.

The alpha moved with purpose, reading every movement, every gap, every weakness. Within seconds, the pack split the herd and penetrated deep into the chaos. Dust rose, alarm calls echoed, and survival became the only language spoken.

Then came a desperate decision.

One frightened fawn broke away and leapt into the backwaters. Safety? Maybe. But nature rarely offers easy choices.

Beneath the still water lurked crocodiles.

The dholes stopped at the edge. They had sensed the danger long before the deer did. Predators themselves, they knew where the greater predator waited.

What happened next? Did the fawn survive? Sometimes the forest keeps its secrets.

Nature is never about good versus evil. It is about choices, chances, and consequences. Every creature is simply trying to see another sunrise. In the wild, survival is not guaranteed, but the will to survive never fades.

Captured during our Guided Wildlife Tour in Bhadra.

Sita Mantap and Bajrang — a combination that defines the magic of Bandhavgarh’s Tala Zone.

Steeped in history and framed by one of the most iconic backdrops in Indian wildlife, Sita Mantap witnessed a royal moment during our recently concluded guided tour. Bajrang, the dominant male of Tala, arrived with purpose. The previous evening, Samrat had been around this very location, but on this day Bajrang seemed far from pleased with his rival’s lingering presence.

As he approached the ancient Sita Mantap, he paused for a brief moment and cast a powerful glance behind him. A look filled with authority, confidence, and the unmistakable aura of a king defending his realm. It was one of those moments that remind us why Bandhavgarh is every wildlife photographer’s dream.

In Central India, success often comes down to being at the right place at the right time. Our team anticipated the movement, stayed patient, and was rewarded with a truly memorable encounter.

If Bandhavgarh is on your bucket list, our October–December guided photography tours offer the perfect opportunity to experience such moments firsthand.

Enquiries are now open. Join us and witness the drama, history, and wilderness of Bandhavgarh like never before.

In the timeless landscapes of Ranthambore, where every stone whispers stories of power and survival, the battle for supremacy is not reserved for tigers alone.

As the golden dust rose beneath their feet, two peacocks met in a clash of pride and passion. Feathers unfurled like royal banners, shimmering in the light, each displaying nature’s finest artistry in a contest for mating rights.

It was more than a fight it was a dance of dominance, a celebration of beauty and instinct. In a land where every creature strives to reign supreme, these magnificent birds reminded us that even elegance can be fierce.

Bhadra and its leopards — a combination that never fails to amaze.

There has always been something special about the leopards of Bhadra. Their sightings may not be as frequent as in some other parks, but when fortune smiles, the forest rewards you with moments that are truly unforgettable.

On our recently concluded guided tour, this beautiful leopardess emerged in the soft golden morning light, basking in the warmth of the rising sun. For a few precious moments, she allowed us to witness her presence and capture her beauty. Then, as quickly as she appeared, she melted back into the wilderness, disappearing into the dense woods.

That is the magic of Bhadra’s leopards—shy, elusive, and always keeping you wanting more.

Every sighting here feels earned. Every frame tells a story.

Looking forward to leading our next Bhadra guided tour this weekend and creating more such memories in the wild.
