Kids see the world as this magical place full of wonder and excitement.That excitement was quite evident when cute lil Nishka had the whole cake to herself as part of her 1st Birthday celebrations. She absolutely loved smashing that cake all over the floor and of course all over herself.. and we in turn enjoyed capturing all of it on camera :-)

Brewing...

Here's an early glimpse of this effervescent couple who are getting hitched soon. When you meet a couple who are so totally into each other, so much fun to be around and easy on the eyes, you can hardly go wrong with the photos. Vikram and Shubhangi together are the right mix of funny, smart, caring and beautiful. We absolutely LOVED clicking their pre-wedding pictures.

Well, you are going to see a lot more of them come December 7th 2015 :-)

Gorgeous floral designer lehenga by Ayati - Design Studio

Indian ethnic wear, as you can imagine, tends to be colorful and pleasing to the eye. To bring out the right contrast and highlight the clothing, we chose to shoot it at an old and rustic location. We could not have asked for anything better than the beautiful Qutub Shahi Tombs in Hyderabad. This location for all its rustic nature, enhances the lovely colors of the lehenga and at the same time adds a lot of character to the image.

Photography is all about the light and there is nothing better than light from the setting sun.

The lovely hue creating during the magical golden hour, makes for a beautiful backlight for any fashion portraits. Combine that with a good location and an amazing model.. and this is the end result!!

a different perspective...

Trust me guys.. am alive!!
Just been extremely tied up with a new venture of mine, which has nothing to do with photography.

Anyways, here is one of my fav pictures from our trip to Turkey last year.. a beautiful sky just makes this photo!

I think i'll start posting more regularly from here on :)

The magical moment..

I think everything worked very well for this image.

1. I got the lighting perfect. There was just enough color in the sky after sunset, which is a beautiful time

2. I finally was able to get the gondola without any other distractions..otherwise the Gran Canal is such a busy waterway..

3. The lights on those wonderful buildings by the canal were turned on ..which does wonders to those beautiful structures..

I had to spend atleast a few hours at this bridge to get this shot..nothing comes easy in photography :)

I've posted this same picture in black and white some time ago but I believe this version looks a lot different and may be even better than the b&w version.. and since I'm not able to get too much time to process anything new, I think it is an appropriate time to post this one..

hopefully i'll have more time to post the newer stuff soon..
