Dear Love,

I ended the year with footnotes of stillness, serendipity and deep diving. The new year was called in at the Vipassana Centre. I was afraid and I still am. The last couple of years have brought me so much uncertain and tainted realities. Sometimes to even keep the hope alive needs so much more. But I have accepted that it's okay, adversity is important. Perhaps that's the best part of the journey like always.

Even though our awareness shifts in between other realities to remember our own dharma is a core deal. What the meditation taught me is forever going to live with me.

I had a lovely time listening to chants for praise and honour at the Mahabodhi temple in so many different languages. Apparently it was the high season, I didn't know spirituality had a season, but it was great for my learning.

Buddha's path is for everyone and anyone who truly believes, as he said don't look at the faults of others but your very own. Perhaps life will be much smoother.

Dear Love,

To give is one of the kindest things in this world, and to give without any expectations is another form of quality which very few people I have met who possess.

I barely know when I am receiving or when I am giving. But to realise we are a medium is very important, and it is really important to keep our thoughts, intentions and heart open.

During my stay at Varanasi I have met plenty of people from all walks of life, from different countries and from different Indian cultures. A lot of love was shared, though few connections during my time there changed the course of my life.

One thing which I really enjoyed was getting biscuits for dogs, food for sadhus and sometimes just helping elderly people with the path.

I don't remember who took this picture, but the year was 2019. I am grateful for the person who did.

About giving, one last thing my faith is much higher than narcissistic people I have met during my journey.

Dear Love,

I have travelled in and out, up and down and down and up this year. A strange longing for purpose, or rather just doing the divine work unknowingly.

Sometimes, the past comes rushing like a wave and it's just the ripples which affect, and the stillness still remains in each breath.

This picture was taken this summer at Madkot, Munsiyari. The river flowing around is known as Goriganga. I am smitten by Munsiyari and its surroundings.

There's enormous power in the Himalayas, just by the very thoughts a lot of my worries just vanish, and practically a lot of those ripples still remain.

What the Himalayas teach me is balance, and balance is the only key.

Dear Love,

Recently I was at this beautiful temple where a lot of divine sages, teachers, aspirants and so many others have gone to receive blessings.

Indeed it's a blessing to have gone there and I could not fathom words for his and their divine blessings, to have led me to the divine gates of bliss. In that path I realised how grateful I am that I could visit these old temples and receive divine grace.

All I know is for a long time I haven't been sharing much, it's only because I have been patient or rather not taking too many pictures and taking care of the most important responsibility as a child.

For the past few days there have been some hideous voices of people with underlined hatred, jealousy and strange things from the past.

It's only because I allowed then out of kindness or necessary. Especially sometimes strangers, family, friends and relatives play such an important role in our lives.

Indeed nobody is perfect and yet everything is and i am learning to not accept less anymore.

Since I have lived away from Kolkata for a long time, the slangs here is no more my cup of tea, though there are still so many nice things in this city.

I am grateful for my family and their support and their love.

For tonight that's all.

I never said I am a perfect person, not that I could say I am imperfect. Though, I could say my experiences make me a better person than what I used to be.
When I stand up for what I believe to be truthful after closely examining that a lot of faces from my past is mere a matter of making me realise my strength and the weakness doesn't affect me anymore.
Though I must say nothing comes easy, we all have to put in effort and keep putting the effort. Rest, is Ishvar will. Because to truly succeed, 25% is self effort 25%Guru's love and 50% is simply grace.

When I am one with that unshakeable truth, which has no beginning and no end.
Yet the essential part of domestic life can't be thrown away, as these domestic daily chores are what keeps the eternal life flowing.
Some people pray on the mat, some people chant, some people practise one or many esoteric practices. But according to the ancient books, texts and slides one may know the supreme reality only by practicing.

They say in Bengal Shubo Bijoya, and in India Happy Dusshera and in the north Jai Siya Ram. Because it indeed is about conquering the inner demons. Though I have been to so many temples and worship places and found ishvar only, nothing else. Now Ishvar can be seen through divine eyes and by grace.
Though the divine reflects through so many factors. Now it's about understanding what kind of divinity one wants to see, definitely not the kind which goes around destroying which none can recreate.
Like animals, birds and nature. Over the years their species are degrading, and in the next few years they will definitely be obsolete.
We have time and space to buy so many luxuries, I am certain if each tried they could spare some luxury towards the homeless people and animals. As. The earth is not only home for the ones living in home, but also to the ones who are living outside.
My Gurudev says "Be Happy" it's his order and blessings. I for sure find a lot of happiness and joy when I see people who are homeless, but they are happy in their own way.
And I am ever happy when I see the good above the rest, because only through their divine eyes one can see the divinity.
I hope today everyone is out conquering their inner demons and choosing the divinity which nurtures and destroys the opposite of divinity..

I seldom pick flowers and say thank you, why because it is important to say thank you to the flower. They look nice growing amidst everything else so peacefully, so serene, so exotic. As a gardener would go on trimming to make sure, more flowers bloom not dissolve. And if the intentions are right, nature will for sure help in so many ways to grow more flowers.

The picture was taken at Kasar, a small town in Uttarakhand. Known for its rich view of nature surrounded by so much beauty. I stayed at with Rajat and Raman who are so sweet and nice, and their dog Lily who is so loving.

My mind is a whirlwind of thoughts, and at the center of it all is you. Even in the quiet moments, when I'm washing dishes or taking a shower, your presence fills my thoughts. It's a blessing, a beautiful reminder that love can be found in countless ways, often in the most unexpected places and in so many names, so many images, so many forms to Life.
However, no matter in whichever language I could say thank you and how grateful it indeed is to witness this life and its richness, the dramas and the dharma, the colours, the food, nature and its vastness. Why would I trade this life for anything else.
