कॉमरेंट (Cormorant)• एक शानदार गोताखोर पक्षी है। यह पानी में गहराई तक जाकर मछलियाँ पकड़ता है।
जब यह शिकार कर लेता है, तो अक्सर नदी के किनारे या पत्थरों पर बैठकर अपने पंख फैलाकर घाम (धूप) तापता है — यह अपने पंख सुखाने का तरीका होता है।
पोंड हेरोन (Pond Heron):
पोंड हेरोन (Pond Heron) एक शांत और धैर्यवान पक्षी है।
यह पानी के किनारे बिल्कुल स्थिर खड़ा रहता है और अचानक झपट्टा मारकर मछली पकड़ता है।
इसका रंग ऐसा होता है कि यह आसपास के माहौल में आसानी से छिप जाता है।

What if.. Nat Geo started narrating in " Pahadi " 😌😄

with the support of two amazing people who helped bring out the Kumaoni vibe in the script.



A city filled with ancient stories, rich culture, and timeless rituals—yet growing in a modern way while still balancing nature and its ecosystem.

This is a small glimpse of what happens when the Great Cormorant flies into Kumaun, India, in search of food. These incredible birds have specially adapted wings and the ability to glide through the air and dive deep into water with ease to catch fish.

I still remember watching Discovery and Nat Geo during my childhood… and now, I found myself witnessing that same kind of documentary moment in real life—right here in Bageshwar, on the banks of the Gomati and Saryu rivers.

And that made me wonder… what if Nat Geo started narrating in Pahadi style? 😄

I don’t know how close I got, but this is a simple attempt—and a beginning.
