This dinner started as a small idea - the people who show up for us, again and again, deserve a space where they’re not just meeting us, but meeting each other.

Our regulars are the heartbeat of this community, and watching new friendships form between people who “always show up” has been one of the best surprises of building Networking Now India.

To everyone at the table last month thank you for making showing up a habit. This one’s for you.

12+ years, 100+ brands, and she still broke it down like she was talking to a friend, not a room. No jargon. No fluff. Just a real framework for the decisions founders actually lose sleep over - the ones you keep avoiding because you don’t trust your own judgment on them yet.

What stayed with me: brand clarity isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the filter that makes every other decision faster.

Thank you Priyasha Murarka | Brand Alchemist and Qi Studio for showing up with substance.

Design is never a solo sport. Listening to Husain Jariwala was a treat & major learning!

Every beautiful space you’ve ever admired had a room full of people behind it - architects arguing over material swatches, entrepreneurs figuring out budgets on the fly, experts who’ve made every mistake so you don’t have to.

That’s what this evening at Evolve Artisanal was about. We co hosted this with Essajees Atelier and their wonderful communities and we filled it with the kind of learning that only happens face-to-face - no slides, no scripts, just people who know their craft talking to people who want to.

Because the best education in this industry was never going to come from a webinar.

Can’t wait for the next!

Leveraging LinkedIn for Founders” with Komal Ramani Makhija and honestly, this might’ve been our most valuable session yet.

Komal broke down what it actually takes to build a founder brand that creates trust, authority, and opportunities - not textbook theory, but the exact playbook she’s used to build Projekt from the ground up.

The room asked real questions. Got real answers. That’s the whole point.

10 workshops in, and the lesson stays the same learning is the key to growth, and showing up is half the battle.

See you at the next one!

Building NNI has taught me that the best conversations don’t follow an agenda.

This time, it was colour, character, and the spaces we call home. Latika founder Freedom Tree Design Studio | Home & Lifestyle on why colour is never just decoration. Ruchika Ruchika Chhabria and Firdaus Variava Bharat Floorings & Tiles on the quiet difference between homes that inherit their history and homes that have to build it from scratch.

What stayed with me: every founder in that room had a point of view so strong, it showed up in the work itself.

That’s the thing about real conviction you can’t fake it, and you definitely can’t outsource it.

This is why we keep doing these rooms. Not for the networking checkbox, but for the discoveries you didn’t know you were looking for.

If you’re a designer, architect, or just someone who believes spaces should say something you’ll want to be at the next one.

The most asked question I get: how do I make the most of this community?

The most common behaviour I see: join, lurk, leave.

Showing up IS the strategy. There’s no shortcut before that 🙌🙏🏻👌

Honestly? I avoided building my personal brand for the longest time.

It felt self-promotional. Uncomfortable. Like - who am I to be talking about this stuff publicly?

But here’s what nobody tells you early enough:

While you’re staying humble and heads-down, someone with half your insight and twice your visibility is getting the investor meetings, the speaking slots, the partnerships.

Not because they’re better. Because they showed up.

Personal brand isn’t about being loud. It’s about being known for something real. Your perspective. Your journey. Your scars.

The Indian founder ecosystem is noisy right now - but most of that noise is generic. The founders who win attention are the ones who say something honest.

Worth a thought!

Nobody talks about this because it feels ungrateful to say out loud. You built something. You put in the hours, the risk, the sleepless nights.

And then a client comes along, pays you sometimes not even your full rate and suddenly they think they’ve bought a piece of you.

Your mornings. Your weekends. Your founder’s personal number. Your team’s mental health.

And the worst part? They’re not even embarrassed about it. Because in their head, money was exchanged. So they’re entitled.

- Every unreasonable demand, every midnight text, every “just one more thing” justified.
- Every time they bypass your team and go straight to the top - justified.
- Every time they threaten a bad review when things don’t go their way - justified.

What nobody tells you when you start is that the most draining clients are rarely the ones who pay the most. They’re the ones who paid just enough to feel like they own you.

And if you don’t draw the line, they will draw it for you. Every time, further back.

This isn’t about being difficult or unprofessional. This is about understanding that your business has a culture. And the clients you tolerate become the standard you set. You’re allowed to offboard someone who disrespects your team.
- You’re allowed to protect your founder’s time.
- You’re allowed to say - this isn’t working anymore.
