The Bhutni city is located at 25.1307'N 87.8709'E.Bhutni city is fully bounded by river ganges and fulahar river.Bhutni consist of three gram panchayats of Manikchak block.The gram panchayats are Dakshin Chandipur,Uttarchandipur,Hiranandapur.As per 2011 census of india bhutni had a total population of 89021 of which 46052 are males while 42969 arefemales.There are approximately 63 villages in Bhut

ni. Total 3 high School,1Senior Madrasah,1 Govt Sponsored Livrary,5 Post offices, 4 Commercial Banks,One Rural Hospital are there .The only medium of going this area is boat but a 1.8 km long Bridge is under Construction. This will be opened for Public from 2018.Bridge is funded by North Bengal Development Board,Government of West Bengal
