As the name suggests, this page is all about the simple mantra of my life: Eat-Click-Travel. My name is Umang and I'm an aspiring adventure and travel photographer. Photography is my passion, and the thing that will undoubtedly drive me insane someday. I don’t photograph subjects, I photograph the way they make me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept but, it’s honest – and it’s the be

st way to describe my approach to it. I love art and I love food, so I think I am the perfect traveler. If that’s all you ever know about me, it’s enough to say you know me very, very well. Here, I'll be sharing photographs/blogs of my travel experiences, photography/travel tips and other cool stuffs. Thank you.

The great affair is to move!
Silhouette is one of my favourite things in photography. Captured this beautiful shadow and mesmerizing sunset on my way towards the Jegri lighthouse.

Feeling grateful for this strange little long year and the people who made it easier to survive in some way or another. I am feeling so stoked with how much I have grown. I've realised that growth is never just about making a significant change but always the small little victories.

This year I have been lost, found, broken, reassembled, barbecued, seasoned with salt and left on the porch overnight... 😂 but not going to stop chasing what sets my soul on fire. I will continue to pursue the life I once only dreamed about!

If I've learnt anything this year is that to be optimistic even if things seem incredibly dark. I'm feeling so proud of me for not letting my happiness be determined by things which were not in my control. Now I know that control in an illusion and sometimes you are just supposed to trust the process.

Sending love and best wishes for the new year! 🤙

Hey friends, hope you all are doing great!
Sorry for being inactive/inconsistent on this page. I will try to be more consistent here. I'm excited to share my travel experiences and looking forward to interact with you all lovely people!

While I love sharing all things photography & travel with you all, I figured it might be fun to share a few fact about yours truly and let you all get to know me a bit better. Let's get started, shall we?

1. I like work. A lot.
(My first “real” job (part-time) was during Graduation. I also did some freelancing during my MBA. I've studied Tourism Management and I'm currently working as a Senior Manager - Marketing & Operations) Follow

2. I like sketching.
(As a kid I was really good at drawing)

3. I’m really good at waking up early without an alarm.
(A habit I've developed over the years living by myself. Hack: I sleep very late (to disturb the sleep cycle and not go into deep sleep) or don't sleep at all whenever I have to wake up 'very' early)

4. I can make round chapatis.
(I'm good at cooking, seriously)

5. I really admire people who are verbally captivating.
(I have a ton of respect for people who can hold a group, whether big or small, spellbound with their communication skills. I also admire musicians or artists of all kinds)

6. My favorite vegetable is "Bhindi" (lady finger)
(Favorite dishes are Cheese Pav Bhaji and Daal Dhokli). Daal Dhokli is love. (Gujjus will know this)

7. Super random fact: I love doing laundry.
(It's meditative bro. On the weekends when the whole world is partying, I spend my time washing clothes while singing out loud random stupid songs)

8. I like "Kaju Katli". A lot.

9. I absolutely LOVE sports.
(I wanted to be a cricketer. I'm a really good all-rounder)

10. In 2021, I want to...
Learn a new language. (This is on my "to do list" for a very long time now)

What fact from the list surprised you the most? Did any resonate with you? Tell me in the comments.

When it comes to biological diversity there are very few places in India that are as rich as the Western Ghats (also known as the Sahyadri Ranges). Maharashtra being one of the states which covers a large area of the Western Ghats is truly blessed with enormous beauty of nature. What makes it unique is the presence of numerous ancient forts among the Ghats which are now considered as some of the most popular trekking destinations for adventure enthusiasts. From day hikes to multi-day adventure trips, these forts and trails offer a unique and adventurous experience. There are many treks near Pune and Mumbai which are easily accessible. Monsoon is the best time to explore these day treks around Pune. However, there are some really good night treks near Pune which can be done round the year. Though a recent trend, night treks near Pune are becoming more and more popular among trekking enthusiasts.
