Just imagining a walk through the snow-covered valley of Darhal Malikan fills the heart with calm and wonder. A soft white blanket spreads gently over the land making everything look pure peaceful and dream-like. The tall pine trees dressed in snow stand quietly like guardians of nature creating a magical scene straight out of a fairytale. The cold crisp air refreshes the soul, and every breath feels new and alive. Death toll in eastern Afghanistan’s powerful earthquake has crossed 800 with at least 2,000 people estimated to be injured.

The 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck on Sunday night, at a shallow depth of 8 km, making it more destructive. Worst-hit are Nangarhar and Kunar provinces, but tremors were felt in neighbouring provinces, as well as in Kabul and in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad.

اسکول کی حالت آپ سب کے سامنے ہے۔ دیواریں ٹوٹ پھوٹ کا شکار ہیں، چھت ٹپک رہی ہے اور بارش کا پانی اندر آتا ہے۔ ایسے میں بچے پڑھائی کے بجائے اکثر باہر بیٹھنے پر مجبور ہو جاتے ہیں۔ یہ نہ صرف بچوں کی تعلیم کے راستے میں رکاوٹ ہے بلکہ ان کی صحت کے لیے بھی خطرہ ہے۔

ہم سب جانتے ہیں کہ تعلیم ہر بچے کا بنیادی حق ہے، لیکن ان حالات میں بچے کیسے اپنا مستقبل بنا سکتے ہیں؟ افسوس کہ آج بھی دور دراز علاقوں کے اسکولوں کی یہی حالت ہے۔

میری دل کی گہرائیوں سے انتظامیہ اور متعلقہ حکام سے گزارش ہے کہ اس اسکول کی فوری مرمت کروائی جائے، چھت کی درستگی ہو اور بچوں کے لیے بہتر تعلیمی ماحول فراہم کیا جائے۔ یہ بچے ہمارا مستقبل ہیں، ان کے خواب اور تعلیم ہماری ذمہ داری ہے۔

تمام دوستوں اور بہن بھائیوں سے بھی گزارش ہے کہ اس آواز کو زیادہ سے زیادہ پھیلائیں تاکہ اربابِ اختیار تک یہ مسئلہ پہنچ سکے۔

100 Hours in Darkness: Power Department Fails, People Call for Central Intervention🚫

The people of different areas of JK have been left to suffer in complete darkness for over 100 hours, as electricity has not been restored even once. This unprecedented failure has pushed residents into misery, with no light, no drinking water, and no relief from the concerned authorities.

The negligence of the Power Department has crossed all limits. If it takes days to restore electricity, then what are these officials being paid lakhs of rupees in salary for? Such inefficiency and carelessness have made the lives of common people unbearable.

Citizens are demanding strict action and asking a blunt question: _If the J&K UT Government cannot restore basic services, then let the Central Government step in and do the job._
