Lesson learned 🤡

Always check twice before booking your hotels while travelling,
Specially when you’re broke 😭

Bro… the story actually gets worse 🥲

So before starting,
the owner tells me…

“Just submit a small security deposit.
We’ll return it once the work is done.”

And I don’t know why…
but I trusted him.

Paid the money.

Then I stayed there for a whole month.

Empty hotel.
Almost no people.
Just me… working every single day.

In that one month, I:
– made 25 reels
– edited 50 photos
– handled their full social media

Genuinely gave it everything I had.

And when it was finally time to leave…

I asked for my deposit back.

He looks at me and says,
“We’re not satisfied with the videos.”

And just like that…
he refused to return my money.

I didn’t even know what to say at first.

Then it hit me…
this wasn’t about content.

This was straight up wrong.

So I started fighting for it.

Calls, arguments… again and again for weeks.

At one point I even said,
“I’ll sue you.” 😭

And he goes,
“I have lawyers.”

I was like… bhai theek hai, dekh lenge.

And after 3–4 weeks of this back and forth…

He finally sent my money back.

But honestly?

That whole month…
felt less like work,
more like survival.

Man vs Wild… but it’s just me and a shady hotel owner.

Travel is not all sunshine and rainbows!
Atleast not for me 🥲

Feel down a mountain,
Got lost, got scammed etc etc.

All the bad things have happened almost one in my life for sure 👀

So why should i carry all that trauma with myself?
I’m ready to dump all of it on the internet now!

Because….why shouldn’t I?

Hi, I’m Kalash 👋🏻

There’s a few things that you should know about me

A.) I love travelling SOLO and doing things that are not soo safe 🙊

B.) Taking impulsive decisions is my fav thing. I hate living with logic

C.)People who dgaf about anything and just live life on their terms are exactly my type of humans.

D.) I want to learn and try everything (singing, dancing, painting, adventure sports, Skateboarding etc. etc. )

E.) I love animals the most! Sometimes I wish i was an eagle 🦅

F.) I have a hard time replying to texts sometimes I forget to respond to the most important work emails and later end up losing the best opportunities of my life 🥲

G.) I lose friends as fast as I make them (idk why?)

H.) I love reading books…but only the ones made with paper. (Hate reading digital EBooks)

I.) I am unemployed and I have no idea wtf am i gonna do with my life 😭

Lost my phone in a taxi while travelling 🥲

And even after I found out,
That my phone was left in a taxi.

I forgot to go back to the taxi to get my phone🤷🏻‍♂️

And because of this I was left 24 hours without a phone, without any money on a solo trip all alone in a mountain village in Himachal.

Honestly, I was feeling lile a caveman 🧙🏻‍♂️

That’s when i realised how worthless my life can feel without my phone 😭

Volunteering basically means offering your skills like social media, content creation etc. in exchange for free stay and food.

You can find volunteering opportunities easily on ✨

Work in hostels, cafes, farms, schools and keep travelling :)

Solo birthday gift 🥱

I wanted to do something crazy on my birthday,
So guess what!! I got my first tattoo ✨

And since the tattoo artist I met was also travelling,
I decided to get the tattoo done in the balcony of the property we both were staying at 😂

Tbh, I love the tattoo 🫶🏻



(I got myself my first tattoo on my last solo trip, a solo trip on my birthday, solo travel is fun, impulsive decisions while travelling can be fun, impromptu things to try)

Survival games in Himachal 🤷🏻‍♂️

I reached 10 mins before,
A bear came on the same street,
searching for food 😵‍💫

I would have never guessed that a bear would be the reason behind me having dinner at 6 Pm and going home at 9 😭

Dharamkot is actually a crazy crazy village,
Anything and everything is supposed to happen here 🥱

Darr ke aage jeet hai 🥱

I fell down the mountain while paragliding 2 days ago,
And guess what? I did it again after 2 days!!🙊✨

Kyu? Kyuki fear nahi banna chahiye bhai!

After i actually did it and was flying,
Everything felt lime a “Rebirth” ✨

A memory for life!!✨🏔️
