God Paints the Mist 🌲

Misty morning among the cedar trees of the Himalayan foothills..!

Some mornings in lohaghat don’t feel real.
They feel like someone quietly painting these natural phenomena.

The cedar trees stood like silent witnesses while the mist slowly moved through the hills, softening every edge, hiding and revealing the forest at the same time.

For a moment, it didn’t feel like I was looking at a landscape…
it felt like I was standing inside a painting.

No human hand created this scene.
No brush touched this canvas.

Just the quiet work of nature —
reminding us that the first artist was always God. 🌫️🌲

Boating on Nainital Lake, captured from the Bamboo Huts…!

Nainital has a very deep and emotional connection with my heart. Over the years, it has become crowded with outsiders, and the charm has slowly faded, yet my soul still feels rooted here. Since childhood, I have explored many beautiful places, but Nainital remains sacred to me — especially because it holds the memories of my beloved grandmother.

I still remember the day when the new dragon boats arrived at the lake. I wanted to ride one, but my parents didn’t allow me. I spent the entire day in silent anger — all because of that one dragon boat. Even today, that small childhood wish lives quietly inside my heart.

From Patwa Dagar to the hidden corners of the town and the surrounding hills, I carry countless memories of this place. Nainital has always been my refuge — my quiet shelter from the world. But today, it breaks my heart to see how the city is changing. Too many people come without respect, spreading filth, breaking beauty, and filling the air with noise that kills the spirituality and dignity of this sacred land. Sadly, at times, even locals become part of this destruction.

The peace I felt between 2003 and 2011 no longer exists. The silence is gone, the innocence is gone, and the soul of the city feels wounded. Still… no matter how loud the world becomes, no matter how broken the streets feel — Nainital will always live inside me.

Dedicated to all those quiet souls who truly loved this city, who walked these paths with respect, who felt its magic in silence… and to my childhood memories that still breathe every time I close my eyes. This place raised a part of my soul, and I will carry it forever.

तू छे मेरी मायादारा तू मेरो दिल मा ❤️

Cheers 🥂

Shining Light in Nepal & Indian Himalayas..!

There are mornings in the Himalayas when the light doesn’t just rise — it descends.

I’ve seen it myself — that first golden touch on the snow feels less like sunlight and more like Shiva’s breath, awakening the silent peaks from deep meditation.

When I took these photographs, I wasn’t just capturing a sunrise. I was waiting for that one moment when the outer light meets the inner one. The mountains stood still like ancient sages, and as the light touched them, it felt as if they opened their eyes — not to see the world, but to see within.

In that glow, I felt Shiva everywhere — in the stillness, in the fire of dawn, and in the silence that followed.

That’s when I realised — light doesn’t come from the sun; it comes from awakening.

( Remember - He is the only one who existed even before the world begins )

Morning Glory from Nepal Himalayas in monsoon season..!

These kinds of phenomena usually appear after heavy rain at night. It feels like a play of clouds—sometimes they gather, sometimes they disperse. If we are there at the right time, they can showcase magical sights within a very short span.

In these photographs there are many Nepal Himalayas, starting from P6020, Lhayul, API West, API, Chisel Peak, Nampa Chuli, Bobaye, P6145, & P6370 from Nepal Himalayas.🇳🇵

Rare Sunrise in the Nepal Himalayas..!

I had the opportunity to photograph this kind of sunrise from a faraway distance, and I still remember—it was a cold December morning in 2024, and my hands were frozen due to the heavy morning frost.

I had reached the top of the peak before sunrise. There were too many clouds, and visibility over the peaks was poor. I thought I wouldn’t get any shot that day, so I packed my camera inside the bag. Just a moment later, I noticed some light breaking through and a few peaks becoming visible. I waited for a few minutes, and suddenly, the weather started clearing and beautiful light spread across the clouds. I quickly took the camera out of my bag and captured this one shot—and just seconds later, the light disappeared, and the peaks were hidden again behind the clouds.

That’s how this became a once-in-a-lifetime rare shot for me—and a meaningful moment in my journey of capturing landscapes.

In this frame there are Mount P6370, Jethi Bahurani, P6453, P6300, Kapchuli, Surma Sarovar ( North ) P6397 & P6390 peaks

Rare Photograph of the Himalayas with Almost No Snow on the Peaks, Featuring Lenticular and Unusual Cloud Formations..!

I am deeply saddened to share that in December 2025, nearly 68% of the snow from the Greater Himalayas in India and Nepal had disappeared. In my experience, this is the first time I have ever seen this happen. Since my childhood, I have never seen these majestic Himalayan peaks so bare—and it’s truly shocking.

Our glaciers and the snow on these peaks are melting at an alarming rate. Just imagine—if this continues, one day our beautiful Himalayan peaks will be dry and barren. The rivers that originate from these glaciers, providing water to millions, may vanish.

This is more than a scary dream. It’s a wake-up call. People must take action to protect the Himalayas and save our glaciers—before it’s too late.

Lenticular clouds over Lhayul, Api Himal West and Main, with Jhethi Bahurani and Kapchuli Peak in the Nepal Himalayas

In January 2025, I finally witnessed a dream I had waited for more than a year to see—lenticular clouds hovering over the towering peaks of the Nepal Himalayas. For so long, bad weather had hidden the mountains from view. One day, I set out to explore despite heavy clouds blanketing the region. I felt a deep disappointment and began to think, “Nothing will happen today. I should head home.” As I turned back, something unexpected caught my eye: the thick clouds were slowly lifting, and soft, golden light began to touch the mountain crests.

I paused, heart pounding, and watched in awe as those smooth, lens-shaped clouds formed above Lhayul, Api Himal West and Main, with Jhethi Bahurani and Kapchuli Peak standing proudly beneath them. That moment felt magical—so rare and so beautiful. It was the very first time in my photographic career that I saw lenticular clouds in the Himalayas. My patience and hope were finally rewarded. I captured the shot, feeling an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude for witnessing this extraordinary scene.
