Some scenes from ‘Uprooting Tallaght’ - A performance art festival that I shot of in Tallaght.

This was a collaborative artwork made for .ciric album that I photographed three years ago. Jelena’s portrait was shot with a vintage postcard feel in mind. We experimented with shooting on different rolls of film and with materials in front of the lens to try and achieve that soft dreamy quality. Eventually we chose this shot and physically sent it to across seas who then imaginatively embroidered onto it and posted it back to us. It’s so wonderful to have a physical tangible piece to hold , but it doesn’t exist if it’s not on the internet ! So then we then high res scanned it to what you see here . This was such a fun process and I’m finally glad to be able to share it as Jelena releases her EP. If you don’t know her work already please go have a listen . She’s magical ✨

Absolutely loved meeting all the inspiring artists who performed last week at Rua Red for Uprooting Tallaght.

These last 3 posts were all shot in the same day around the south east coast of Iceland through a car window because it was too cold to get out most of the time 😂🥶

Roughly 20 metre per second winds blowing the snow off the glacier made this caldera look like it’s floating in the clouds 🤩
