Throw back to 2016
What's the first thing that comes to mind when July hits? I truly hope you think the celebration of living in a free nation. We do our very best to stay neutral when it comes to politics, as everyone has their opinions. We also believe it's these opinions, and the freedom to express them, that as a kulture we grow. We grow as a community. We grow as individuals. We grow as people. Without expression, where would we be? Imagine if all our motorcycles, hot rods, classic cars, or any other type of ride were nothing but flat black. For a very short minute it might be neat, but long term, it would become very dull. Everyone would become less expressive and creativity would not be accepted. I want everyone to really think about what it means to each of you to be an American.
This month has tremendous symbolism. It is the month we widely proclaim our right to freedom. We live in a free society and we need to protect those freedoms at all costs. Our hearts go out to all the victims of the recent attacks that have occurred on American soil and appear to becoming more and more daring. As a collection of Americans, we need to continue to stand steadfast by each other’s sides and not allow pure hatred to pe*****te our great nation.
During July, stand tall and proud that you are an American. Celebrate with your families, and share good times with friends and neighbors. If you are an immigrant to America, remember why you came here to begin with and remember all the sacrifices it has taken to be apart of a collection of kultures who can freely interact in an open society. Hang your American flags high this month to show that we all believe in liberty. As we proclaimed in January, 2016 is the "Year to Pursue Happiness" for Grease Inc. and Garage71.
