There’s nothing cooler, in my opinion, than a boat photo shoot — cruising across the lake and stopping to take photos when the light is just right, in front of one of the stunning villas or picturesque towns. The breeze on your skin, the sunlight making everything glow, your joyful mood, the glamour of the vintage boat… My aim is to capture all of that in a photograph that will last forever.

One of the things you ask me the most is: “what if it calls for rain the day of the photo shoot?”. I try my very best every time to reschedule the shoots: I keep checking the predictions using the more reliable weather apps, then try to match everyone’s agenda and I have to say that over the years I’ve scored a 98% success rate!Could you believe this was supposed to be an afternoon shoot under the rain, but turned out being a morning shoot in a stunning milky light?

🖤 Book your shoot by signing a contract

🖤 Choose the photo shoot location: once you'll have signed the contract, I’ll send you a tailor made list of locations & I'll help you plan a fabulous shoot!

🖤 I’ll confirm the game plan with you and send you a summary with all of your session details, including the start time for best lighting, our meeting spot with a google maps link, and my phone number for last minute emergencies.

🖤 Photo shoot day: meet up with me 5 minutes before your shoot to go over your goals, and then it’s all about having fun!

🖤 Choose the photos. I’ll make a first selection of the photos and within 15/20 days after your shoot, you’ll get a private gallery that you will use to select the photos you would like to receive.

🖤 Get your memories! Email me when you’re done with the selection. I'll edit your favorite photos and send them back to you in 15/20 days. You will receive a beautiful online gallery that you can download, share and print.

Touring Lake Como by boat is the best way to see the many grand villas and historic towns that line its shores. The most luxurious ones are for sure the vintage Riva, glamorous 1950s mahogany motorboats that were synonymous with la dolce vita.In this photo you can see the Ariston, the boat that Carlo Riva was most fond of. He described it as being ‘designed with love, born pure and strong like a pedigree horse.’

In one of his emails Nathan told me: “Sarah is like a Disney princess, so I would love to recreate a fairytale for her”. I assisted him planning everything to perfection for his proposal, helping him to privately book Villa del Balbianello to enjoy every single moment without the stress of the crowds around and arranging for them a boat ride in the golden early morning light to take them back and forth their hotel. Sarah was almost speechless when she realised everything and her reaction was one of the most joyful I’ve ever seen!

For those asking who’s the girl behind the camera, here you are a pretty rare picture of myself, walking down the steps of my favorite house in one of my soul places, Lake Orta. Have you ever been there? I feel very honoured to tell you that some of my clients traveled there just because of me, to take beautiful photos of them on the shores of that enchanting lake or on the island right in front of the medieval town of Orta San Giulio. I’d love to show you more through the stories next time I’ll be there!
