🇬🇧1 yrs ago our run with at in Los Angeles ended with Morphine reaching the semi finals, that round was actually won by an incredible actor but also a great musician.
Morphine was also nominated at of New York, a special mention at and win an award as best music video at .
We started as a 4–5 people crew, from an industrial area outside Florence, coming from a small town, and still made it overseas, competing with productions infinitely bigger than ours.
what really matters are ideas, sweat, and the people standing next to you.
In the end, it’s pretty incredible what you can build with a small budget, a heavy metal band, a handful of people by your side and a insane amount of ambition.
And it’s only a matter of time before we try again.
🇮🇹Esattamente un anno fa terminava la nostra corsa con Morphine all’indie short di Los Angeles.
Restai sveglio tutta la notte per aspettare il risultato, l’award venne meritatamente vinto da Jeremy Renner talentuoso attore e anche musicista.
Oltre a questo traguardo Morphine aveva ricevuto una nomination a New York lift off e vinse un award come best music video al prisma film award.
Morphine e stato il mio primo vero videoclip e il mio primo award.
Siamo partiti in 4–5 persone, da una città di provincia vicino Firenze, e siamo arrivati oltre oceano a gareggiare con produzioni infinitamente più grandi della nostra.
È abbastanza incredibile cosa si può fare con un piccolo budget, una talentuosa band heavy metal, poche persone ma motivate al tuo fianco e una quantità indecente, forse troppa, di ambizione e voglia di farcela.
È solo questione di tempo prima che ci riproveremo ancora.
Grazie a tutta la truppa per avermi consentito di attraversare l’oceano a bordo di una zattera per fidarsi di me in ogni momento.
