The. Stairs. Will. Get. You! 🥵
You type your destination into Google Maps, awesome, 10 minute walk. BUT you’re in the Amalfi Coast and the number of stairs is mind blowing. Especially if you overpacked and are hauling your luggage up with you!
The second video is only a small section of the stairs I hauled my luggage up. Thank goodness that shirtless man helped carry my luggage up the last flight, or I may still be standing there!
And the last pic is how I looked once I finally made it to my hotel. Embarrassing but too funny not to share! 🤣

A fabulous start to my trip was a day in Sorrento. I started by just making a right and walking along the cliff. Window shopping and enjoying the views. 🍋
Then I doubled back to have lunch at the amazing restaurant. So beautiful with lemon trees growing throughout the restaurant. I, of course, had the Gnocchi Sorrento and it was amazing.
Then I walked along the main streets and did a little shopping before sitting to relax with a scoop of gelato.
The view of the tiny shopping street is from my hotel room balcony, perfect location to be in the mix.
I walked a little farther and had dinner at . Since I had been traveling I got there early before the line started outside. I again had the gnocchi Sorrento (haha I’m a sucker for gnocchi) and it was even better than the first.
And to finish off the day I headed up into the hills for a limoncello making class. My first sunset of the trip was amazing and I got to pick fresh lemons and make a limoncello to take home. The lemons here are huge!
