I felt like taking pictures. Not the usual perfect dishes or glasses of wine against postcard landscapes. That’s what’s trendy now, but it didn’t interest me.
I went to the mountains too, the usual mountains. Then to France. And while watching people on vacation, I wasn’t drawn to those rushing from one winery to another, chasing a kind of authenticity that often feels more staged than real. Instead, I found myself noticing those living simple, everyday moments: a walk, a makeshift lunch, an afternoon of nothing that turns into a memory.

I wish I had photos like that with my family. Ordinary photographs, without too much direction. Images that don’t strive for perfection, but manage to tell the truth of a moment
