Celebrate your little (or big!) ones with a custom photoshoot

. We'll bring the studio to the familiar comforts of your own home so your pet is relaxed and ready to shine. A variety of outfits will be provided to choose from, or we can use your own. Not only will you get great shots from the session, but your pet will enjoy a shower of attention, treats, and perhaps even a belly rub or two. After the shoot you will be presented with proofs to see your pet in-context and so you will know exactly what shot you getting. From there you may choose from a variety of print packages so that you may remember the fun time you shared and have artwork to share with friends and family for years to come. 52 Frames : Week 4/52 : Get High

52 Frames : Week 3/52 : Get Low

You know when someone starts dating someone with kids. And you meet up a bunch and hear all about the kids. Their likes, interests, etc. Then you FINALLY get to meet them in person?!?

That's what it felt like when finally introduced me to Lucca and Indy!!! 🤣

When we booked our trip to Toronto, my pet photographer friend Karen was the first person I told. And basically demanded that she make time for me.

And boy did she! Then she took me on a mini tour of her local wineries (where she's done her Winery Dogs of Ontario calendar series - srsly- check it out - super talented photographer (and great taste in wine)). One of which included a resident Bernese mountain boy mascot, Brix ! And then she loaned me her models for this shoot. 📸

Indy is not pictured because he was off looking for a dry, snow/salt free spot to rest his lil' feet's. ❄️

Lucca was ALL about hustling for treats and didn't hesitate to jump on this failed attempt of a snowman, snow mound! ⛄️

52 Frames : Week 2 : Rule of Thirds
"I'll Have Seconds - or Thirds!"

Last year I completed my first full year of ! It's a fun weekly challenge, 52 themes, photographers all over the world (not just pet photogs) - getting together and pushing each other to create.

But some fab pet photographers have created a subgroup. Because...dogs!! So I have their support, too. And damn that group is talented AF and super inspiring!

I decided to keep it going - but - ACTUALLY SHARE THEM here!

So get ready for weekly posts like this.

Week one was a selfie in front of the epicly famous Burj Khalifa in Dubai. No dogs present. So starting with Nola and a chicken for week two.

If you have had any contact with me this year you've probably heard me talking about (or stressing about finding the perfect location and/or model) for this project!!

Emerge! Of the .ed fame. IYKYK. If you don't: it's a pro-pet photography course/challenge coaching stress fest!!

So I'm here to share all the bling badges I got this round! And two overall category WINS!! 👏🏻 Super proud of these images.

Ok jokes aside, it's been a really fun way to push my creativity. Even more so, to plan out shots and go out and make them happy. It's shooting with intention and not just trying to make a pretty pet portrait (although I love those too!).

The feedback has helped me hone in my own eye for self-critiquing.

Back in my design school university days I had a professor that said "good design goes unnoticed, but it strengthens and supports the overall message of the work." And I think photography is much the same. How can I support this story in my images without little overlooked distractions!?!

Plus Charlotte and Craig have their damn eagle eyes that you can *NEVER* fool. 😅

Anyways. I've decided to torture (challenge, I mean CHALLENGE 😅) myself by enrolling in the third and final course: Empower! So you all's not done with me stressing over locations and models and assistants, yet! Sorry, not sorry.

Happy 5th bday to my favorite bean, Nola. I've spent most of the last week just me and her and I can't imagine better company. She may bork her ass off at strangers but once you've won her over, you've made an ally for life.

Mucca and his Cheese Sniffer 👃 🧀 are at it again! And I got the honor of a 52 pick!!

➡️ IYKYK! If you don't know: 52 Frames is a weekly photography challenge open to everyone! Not just dog photographers. But I am a part of a super lovely group of fellow dog photogs that partake in the weekly challenges. They helped me pick between these two! 👏🏻

I do it for fun and to push me to think outside the box - beyond "nailing" the perfect shot(s) like I strive to do for private clients.

✨And sometimes magic happens. ✨

Shoutout to my best boy 🐮 Mucca. He's had a rough couple of weeks with some health issues. But still loves to (going easy) pose for me! Well...for the 🧀 anyway...😅
