È stato un grande piacere esporre al a Sutri, una città ricca di storia e di arte.

Grazie al direttore del museo e a tutto lo staff per avermi dato la possibilità di esporre un progetto a cui tengo molto.
“Ethereal matter of light” ha trovato qui una cornice speciale.

È solo un gioco per rendere omaggio ai fotografi che mi hanno formato, ferita, sorpresa, accompagnata.
Chi vince? Dipende dal giorno, dall’umore, dalla luce.

I’ve been featured on Rai Italia to share a story I’ve been carrying with me for months: the story of Afghan hairdressers. ✂️

These are women working in hidden salons or improvised rooms, with the hairdryer always ready and the door half closed. Through other women’s hair, they try to keep a small space of freedom open: veils lifted in a hurry, lipsticks passed from hand to hand, mirrors that become windows.

Bringing their faces and voices onto a TV show, even just for a few minutes, matters to me: it means shifting these stories from the margins to the centre, at least for a moment.

Thank you to Rai Italia and Paparazzi for the space and the attention.
And thank you, above all, to the women who opened the door of their salon – and their lives – to me.
