When my girls were little, I once read we only get 18 summers with our kids. That impacted me so much wanting to make each summer special. I wasn’t always able to do that as life seems to throw curveballs but what matters most is spending time with each other and making memories. Here’s to summer! May it be blessed!

My life has been swiftly moving by so quickly and I promise I’m doing my best to get back to inquiries! It’s just been a wild time in my life! I still have openings for June through August available!

Senior Sunday
I can’t believe I only have a week left to call her my senior! School has certainly given us our highs and lows and this girl has come through so beautifully! We haven’t always homeschooled but as so many others out there, once Covid hit, we made the switch and it’s been a labor of love but I’ve gotten to make so many memories with Jo. She’s been a leader in her friend group, worked a job since she was 15, written several imaginative books, won horse competitions, and had a year a Del Mar. I know God has a plan for her and I’m only ok right now thinking of her growing up because I know she has the tools, she has the drive, and more importantly she follows the Lord, He will light her path.

What can I say except it feels like a dream…
Planes, trains, taxis, subways, buses, and boats. We thoroughly explored Italy but barely made a dent. And of my favorite things about the trip are all the memories I made with my mom and my sister.
We thought we had prepared ourselves for this trip but there’s no way to fully prepare! So make room for getting lost, changing plans, and wandering! And don’t listen to all those social media influencers. Ask the locals!

I bet you thought I’d be posting my trip right about now but I wanted to start with saying, being in Italy, making memories with my mom and sister, I wish we had at least one nice photo of the three of us. And I saw a lot of photographers hired to do just that! It’s just something I didn’t think about beforehand and I thought maybe I could make it work, and we did try! One sweet young lady tried her best but they were all out of focus sadly.

*New wedding venue alert*
This stunning location is so unique and perfect for small and intimate weddings! I stopped by open house at yesterday and I’m blown away by the stunning views and darling attention to detail, so stinking cute!
So I did a bummer of a move at the end of my tour, while on the pier overlooking the lighthouse I somehow managed to knock my hearing aid directly into the water where it sank like a rock 😭 I’m practicing patience with myself for things out of my control and as someone that struggles with giving up control this can be tricky so I guess I really needed this lesson!
