The BEAUTIFUL island of Sark 🇨🇶

About 70 minutes by ferry from Jersey lies a tiny island that is known for having no cars and being the world’s first dark sky island. Even multiple heatwaves and a recent wildfire couldn’t stop the island showing off in all its wild beauty 😍

Topping off a great week filled with ocean education with a spectacular morning out with Lou from Intertidal Walks Lou Wagstaffe 🐚

Always fascinating going out the Seymour Tower and wandering along the spots that are usually covered by the sea. Lots of beautiful shells, anemones, crabs and sunshine! 🩵

Thanks again Lou! As always, I loved the walk and chat and geeking out about all things ocean related! 🦀

Today is World Oceans Day 🩵

I don’t often post when I’m not travelling but today is a bit different. If you didn’t know already, I actually have a degree in Marine Zoology and a diploma in Marine Biology and Ecology. The ocean and animals are my first loves!

I currently work at a preschool in Jersey and have been in my element all morning talking about sharks (my favourites) and other sea creatures, watching YouTube videos and looking through my books and fish ID guides while passing around shark teeth to the kids! It’s been a great morning! 🦈🐠🪼🦀

Spending my birthday week in Paris and Disneyland were amazing! So many memories, Minnie Mouse ears, a birthday badge, a high five from Minnie and blown a kiss by Mickey! Went on some great rides and had such a magical time!

In September 2025, my friend Lara and I went on a day trip from London to Paris 🇫🇷 it was fun to explore the city even just for a day.

In a few days, I’m heading back to Paris for more fun and this time, heading to the magical world of Disneyland Paris ✨
